Is it too late to switch to T-Mobile from att? I feel I am missing on all these deals but I also think that the best 'switching' deals are gone.
T mobile has been great so far. Was on Sprint for a couple of decades and they were terrible!!!

Do I have to buy a t-mobile sim card?

If I add the line online, do they mail me a sim card for free?

Or if I add the line at a t-mobile store or Costco will they provide a free sim?

Can someone share how the discount appear under applied promotions and discounts? Does it say 2020 Line On Us 4 or 2020 Line On Us 3 (double amount)?
No one so far confirms Line on Us 4 in writing for sure. Everyone reports "Combined Line on Us 3" like mine was for "Line on Us 2 combined" back in late Sept. It did not stick. System dropped it off automatically again and again (about 24hrs after having it added, dropped, re-added, dropped, re-added, dropped).

Now I see a lot of ppl w/ this same but Line on Us 3 combined. I hope their stick and that Tmobile fixes the system now bc I want to add too but don't want to deal w/ the mess if it doesn't stick. Same named free line promo doesn't bode well though in my experience unless it changes tomorrow to Line on Us 4 or something...

I called 611 and a rep was able to help me add a line with no problem. I just had to pay $10 for the sim card and it will be here in a few days. SOC code: FRLTULF2.

Depends on SOC. I can't remember mine (SLCULTT50) ever being eligible
I also have the Select Choice SLCULTT50. Am I not available again for the 3rd or 4th time this year? Have anyone with Select Choice gotten a free line this year?

I think the only perks for SLCULTT50 was that they upgraded the $10 3GB data to unlimited data for free. There was nothing else that can benefit this old grandfathered plan unless I'm on Simple Choice or other newer plan.

All in all, I have 5 lines, 2 lines with unlimited high speed data, and the 3 lines with 30mb high speed data and unlimited 2g speed. The 2G speed works ok with whatsapp and other low bandwidth apps. If T-Mobile 2g ever go away, then I'd be force to upgrade my plan. I'm paying about $105 after tax and 15% discount. Still can't find a cheaper plan than mine. I guess with all the free lines that TMobile is giving out to all other plans, my plan isn't as good anymore.

What am I missing : all my family has lines why do I need another free one? (I already asked T Mobile and you CANNOT use it for an Apple Watch or tablet etc, so what's the point? Apart from it over-inflates their subscriber numbers?)
You toss one in a cheap old phone. You put it in your car or your go bag.
As long as the phone has 3g- 2g is being phased out. There are a bunch of good reasons why this is practical, and useful. For example, you lost your phone, or your primary phone is somehow inoperable. You still have your secondary ready to make a call, or to inactive your primary. You loose your phone in a snow bank when you slide off into a ditch. You can use one on your drone to track it. If its free, get them for your kids (even if you don't have any yet).

I believe the 2g speed still runs on the 3g/4gLTE/HSPA network. So your phone will still work, just throttled to "2g" speeds not "2g" network.

So which is the Esim number? Where do I find that
In Settings, obviously.
EID is eSIM version of SIM. EID has more digits than SIM.
BTW, MEID and IMEI are the same thing, except for the check digit.
