from what I have been reading people get kicked out of this promo after 24-48 hours and not immediately...so it's hard to tell now whether this will stick or not
They are talking about Sep promo problem, you can't add two lines for same promo which they only allow for one to be free at the same period, it has different situation. Let's see if Dec promo stacks with previous one.

if you read all the posts in here people have got that message then later a message saying not eligible sometimes followed by a message saying promotion added.

I don't know what to believe that's why I asked what your situation was

Has anyone tried using the free line with eSIM to add a second line to their existing phone that can support it?
I was thinking of doing the same thing.

I do not pay taxes so totally free, all included.
Ditto. No taxes showed. But my autopay discount goes up $5 for every line. Very happy.

I contacted to T-Mobile agents to check it out if my account is eligible to get this promo, they told me yes! So I jumped in.

You can't cancel any lines within one year after you get this free line. If you want to leave T-Mobile, you are free to cancel whole account at anytime.
Thanks for sharing the information

I really hope it works for you but I'm holding off until we get more feedback. There was also people saying it should say 2020 line on us 4 not a second one applied to 3

They have not done any standalone free tablet lines to my knowledge it's usually bogo which is not really worth it, at least for me since phone already gets data that you can hotspot for 10gb.

I did this for the previous line on us promotion and so far its been working fine. The only reason I did it was I didn't want to pay the $10 sim card fee and didn't want to miss out on the promotion. Now my only concern is down the road how easy is it to transfer an eSIM number to a physical SIM or another eSIM.

When I called and spoke with a rep, he called it the "2020 Line on US 4" offer as well when he told me my plan was eligible (then he basically read me 10 min worth of fine print laugh out loud).

Great feedback, and also a good point; hadn't thought about that. I also feel like there's some hiccup where you can't do eSIM on your iPhone unless it's paid off already? Am I making that up? We switched to TMo right about a year ago, and our phones have another year to go before they're paid off.
