Called T-Mo and added line over phone. Paid $10 plus taxes for SIM and confirmed that this would be a free line. I had added a free line last month. Total - 6 lines, 3 paid 3 free with insider discount for $112. Waiting on $200 BYOD Costco Card and $100 Port In TMo rebate for last month's deal. Not risking another Costco attempt and decided to do it with T-Mo directly. Confirmed no charges outside of SIM cost.

No go for me... apparently the free line from Black Friday week excludes me from getting this free line. Going to call in or chat with another rep to confirm.

Thanks, the trick works!
The trick works how? Did you get "Line on Us 4" or "Line on Us 3 doubled?"

T-Mobile One is too general; there are different One plans. Read the first post to find your exact plan code and see if it's on the eligible list.

I went to Costco to add a line, and now I see 2x "Line on Us 3", instead of 1x "Line on Us 3" and 1x "Line on Us 4". Hopefully this gets corrected.
Yours and everyone else. There is not yet "Line on Us 4" reported from anyone...

Anyone been able to get T-Mobile to waive the SIM charge? I've been a customer for like 14 years and they almost always accommodate me, but I'm wondering waiving the SIM is typically something they budge on. I have 4 paid and 3 free that I'm already doing nothing with so I'm not sure a 4th free line is even worth the SIM charge.

And for the people suggesting I find some random person to port into my account and collect from monthly, is no one worried about that person potentially performing some illegal activity on that line and then then coming back to me?

Had the line added through the T-Mobile app even though my soc was not on the list. I specifically asked twice and was assured. My rate plan is SC NA 10GB Family Match Promo. Was charged about $30 but was credited immediately on the bill

How soon can I add free line or iPhone 12 on us by adding a new line after cancelling existing line.

I have already 10 lines on SC plan which does not allow any more lines - paid or free. So I am thinking to cancel one of the line and wait for a while and once it's eligible for the promotion add it back. Is this possible?

Costco kiosk said that I needed to bring a device to even get an extra line from them, that they have to enter an IMEI#. I have never heard of that before. Is this a known thing?

Can you share how this works? I'm on a legacy Simple Choice plan. My SOC is supposedly eligible, but I'm not sure how to make all this happen, esp with purchase of a phone. Any help greatly appreciated!
If after reading the front page and you still don't know how to do it. I suggest you walk into a tmobile store and have them assist you with buying a pixel 4a.
