My plan is never eligible

Nice! How did you know free lines were available? Slickdeals?

Yes I joined TMO in June after seeing a "heads up" thread from Jman100--same deal as this thread. But back then there was a reminder for new signups in the Wiki, even a separate post about starting a new account the day before or more before free line promo lands. If you have not yet joined TMO, you want to join the day before a deal such as this goes live. That way you can get the Free 3rd line, and then the next day grab the 2020 line on US X as you are already a current customer. . .

I was just told by a Costco kiosk representative that only magenta plans qualify. I'd really like the extra line, but I'm feeling the hassle isn't worth it.
I kept hearing same BS from idiot at local Costco during previous free line promo but first he didn't even know that $200 BYOD promo was over (even kiosk had a board showing that end date was still 2 days away) and couldn't do nothing about fixing that, second I came home and added the line myself and it qualified to be free even though it was ONE plan. So needless to say I wouldn't count much on what they say at least not over what people experienced dealing with T-Mobile directly.

Try a different rep. TIULFM9 is another one plus plan with 9-12 lines. Ask to change to either FRLTULFM9 or TIULFM9. I had mine change to TIULFM9 via T-force just today.
Do you see all your past promotions/discounts when signing in your account after switching plans?

Dumb question but my SOC is SCUTTF4 but doing some research and it shows that it transitioned to SCFUTT4?
I have SCUTTF4 with 4 lines and when I called today, the rep said it was ineligible. Anyone have success with this SOC?

If your SOC is on the list.. Just add the line yourself online or have costco do it. It will convert automatically to a free one.

You also have 14 days to give them the flipper and cancel the line with no cost or penalty if this doesn't bear out.

How did u get the Oneplus 8 for free? I thought it doesn't stack with the free line promo?
The CSR said he got training in the morning and was told that OnePlus 8 would be the only free phone with this free line promotion. They were told not to offer it, but if customer askes it can be given. I paid tax only, and the online paperwork shows that it's free through 24-month credit. Free line already added to my account.

On chat, the rep said I couldn't change my T-Moblile One to a 9-12 line version, but I called 611, and it was an easy switch. I was able to keep all my other discounts and add the free line (without the $20 surcharge). Just needed to pay for the $10 SIM card.

Just now spoke to a rep and he told if we stack to free phones the line becomes paid, so keep an eye on your next bill
Will do, I tripled checked with the rep but you never know. I didn't think this promo was stackable per the info at the top. The rep brought it to my attention, I asked if she could confirm, she put me on hold came back & said I could stack the promos together on those selected phones only. I'll report back here either way...

I did this today without seeing this thread. I am on the 55 plus plan and have never tried to add a line because they seem to be excluded, but was able to add a free line and she also gave me a One Plus 5g for free also. I had to pay 10.00 sim card and taxes for the phone.
I haven't done any of these promos before and question the charges that I saw on the receipt but she assured me that the promotional credits would kick in on the first bill and I wouldn't be charged for the line or the phone.
Did you do this in store?
And which model one plus phone are you referring to ? One plus 8 or 8t ?

I received a text from T mobile that said I qualified for a free line. Don't believe it was a promotion but a targeted offer.. I did not learn about it from Slickdeals.
Thank you. I received a similar text earlier this year that I can add a new line for $20 to my existing 55+ plan that had 2 lines already. I believe that was a targeted promo too as I was told when I signed up that 55+ plans are limited to 2 lines only.

My tforce rep changed it. Took a long while but everything seems to be in order. You guys may have to mention the rate plan code.

I can see that everything is added back except for a couple of them - Autopay, and one of the free lines from 2017. I checked with another rep later, and was told that they see all the discounts on their end. I will give it a day or so, and see if the account gets updated.
