What Do I Need To Do To Get This Offer?
  • This is a targeted offer from T-Mobile and is only open to select existing customers that meet the following requirement:
    • You must have a qualifying T-Mobile postpaid plan with 2 or more lines that falls under one of the following SOC Codes shown in this image (see instructions below on how to find your SOC code).
      • SOC (Service Order Code): The technical term used to describe plans and services that are added to customers' accounts within T-Mobile's billing systems.
    • If you are certain you qualify, login to your account below and:
    • Alternatively, you may call T-Mobile and a representative can assist you with adding your 3rd line.
      • If calling, promotion name is "2020 Line On Us 4".
Instructions to find your SOC code (thanks to Reddit user massiveprodigy):
  1. Using the Google Chrome web browser (desktop version), open the Developer tools panel on the right (Ctrl+Shift+I)
  2. Click on Network tab
  3. Click on XHR tab
  4. Log in my.t-Mobile.com and click Account at the top.
  5. In developer tools panel, choose manageaccount from the list on the left
  6. Account level promos will appear under accountDiscounts
  7. Line level features will appear under lines > # > addOns
  8. If there is a pending change, you can see exactly what it is by clicking productsPendingChange

You can, but not with any the promos which require a new line. This is why the Pixel 4A 5G deal still works, albeit at 50%. You get half off for trading in an old smartphone. Before, you could get 100% off, but that required a new line (which everyone did using the free line) AND a trade in.

Thanks! I was able to chat with T-Force and add a free line and stack the $1000 off 2 Galaxy devices promo on the T-Mobile website. So essentially a BOGO since I got 2 Note20s.

Autopay discount and the free line from 2017 showed up on my account this morning. Strangely, 2020 line on us 3 discount dropped/disappeared. The plan total came down to a little less than what I had for 8 lines. Strange, but I want to see if it changes in the next day or two.

The only thing I did along with the plan change was to add the new free line. Maybe that is somehow related to the 2020 line on us 3 dropping off. Let us see what happens.

T-Mobile is seriously the best! I talked with the greatest sales rep ever! I had an earlier simple choice promo plan and I was able to add my 4th free line. They also gave me $830 toward a new phone by adding the line. I wound up with a free line and an iPhone 12 for free after bill credits. I paid just under $75 for phone sales tax and overnight delivery. If their goal was to keep me for life, they achieved it. It would be impossible to move to another carrier with these discounts. Incredible deal! Thank you T-Mobile!

went to try to add this free line after doing the one in Nov.. Now I am finding out that the line I added in November actually wasn't free(even though the rep verified it would be) and that they have been charging me... Trying to get this cluster all figured out now
