Well I hope you get lucky this time.
Thanks. T Moble is a reputable company. I don't think they will let us take the consequences for the mistake they made, if that was a mistake.

And lose the number you've already been using??
Port them out to a prepaid service or Google Voice. Then port them back to the free lines.

we have military and pay for 5 lines for years. Can we get this deal and a free phone?
Military plans are always excluded from these deals, as far as I remember. The only time we ever got something is a couple years ago when the old T-Mobile MIlitary ONE plan converted to the new, current one. We got half-price phones (after credits), didn't even have to add a new line. I can't complain, tho. 9 voice lines for well under $200 is pretty nice.

I can't open the 'this image' link in the OP to know if my SOC codes (which I found) are eligible...when I click the link, it takes me to a slickdeals 404-style page that says the deal might have been considered spam and/or I don't have permission to view...any other way to view the eligible SOC codes? The alternative in the community wiki appears to show ALL soc codes, I just need to know which of those are eligible...

I'd double and triple check if I were you since I have a feeling you're new at this. Let's ignore for a moment that you're actually NOT able to stack iphone on us w/ FREE line, but let's assume the system bypasses. I'm pretty sure Trade in has always been required for 1x iPhones since forever. See current deal below. So either cancel that ip12 order or find a phone to trade in and place a new order to get your full $830. You may not see the free line promo dropped but believe me you will need a trade in to get that $830 RDC. If you want an Android then sure, but for iPhones no one gets 1 free without a trade in. There are BOGO but that requires buying 2 iPhones. But to get 1 iphone you will need to re-order w/ a trade in and print out the label and mail it out.

See how to save $830 when you join & trade in an eligible iPhone.

How to get this offer:

Activate a new line of service on an eligible plan.
Purchase an iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro Max, or iPhone 12 Pro device on a monthly payment plan and pay applicable sales tax on pre-credit price.
Trade in an eligible device in good condition:

Get up to $830 off:
Apple: iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 11, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone X, iPhone XR

Get up to $600 off:
Apple: iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus

Get up to $450 off:
Apple: iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus

Receive a one-time bill credit based on your trade-in value, and the balance of the offer via 30 monthly bill credits for the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 Pro or 24 monthly bill credits for the iPhone 12 mini.
Definitely not new at this. This is my fourth free line. The rep clearly stated it did not require a trade in. I repeat. NO TRADE IN REQUIRED. We will see how the bill lands and deal with it if it is wrong. My faith is with T-Mobile. They have been great.

Are the calls recorded for QA though?
Wouldn't they have to honor the agreement
I thought i saw recently that there was a lawsuit or something against mobile for enticing customers with free line promos and then charging them
The customers got a reimbursement I think
If they are not recorded is there any app you could use to record the call?
Recorded calls or messages doesn't change anything. It's up to the customer to fully read and understand the terms and conditions that they're buying into.

Is the link to the SOC codes page dead? I can't access it.

Has anyone with Magenta 55+ been able to get this free line?

try to find a rep who will add the soc code 10sfmgb to your lines. i have ths ame select choice plan/soc and was able to add 10sfmgb to my 3 lines which give it unlimited data + 10gb hotspot for $0. with my 15%, i pay $65 total for 4 lines unlimited talk, text, and data with 10gb tether.
Is this for real? This is almost too good to be true. I'm paying $20 and $10 for unlimited data with 5GB and 3GB hotspots. I never heard that we can get free unlimited data on this old Select Choice plan. I will try this and report back. Thanks so much.

I had 2 free lines laying around on my account and brought my parents over to my account.

They were already T-Mobile customers and the first rep was able to bring their lines over to my account, but killed my 2 'free' lines in the process. I had to make another call back and wait for a truly wonderful rep to cancel my parent's ported in lines, re-activate my 'free' lines with promos and then do a phone number reactivation so they didn't lose their phone numbers.

So yes, it is possible, But it has the potential to be a huge pain.

I have the simple choice plan...would i be eligible??
I just spoke with a rep and they said we were eligible without me even asking. I got it, but we don't need it. I'm going to see if I can move my number over to the free line. Simple Choice is still the best plan they ever offered for low data use.
