T-mobile has turned crooked just like the big phone companies they were opposing,. Even though I qualify for this promos based on the plan and even confirmed by Customer Service raps, they refuse to add Free Line, because I already am getting " a good deal" on my account. They would be happy to add line if I do however change plan to more expensive plan.

Any suggestion on decent family plan or pre-paid, MVNO alternate?
Why don't you do it online ? When you add a line and pay for the SIM , if the plan is eligible it should reflect free line.

How are they crooked? You're the one reaching out to them, they are not forcing you to add it to your plan. Some plans just don't qualify for the promo, and they have to move you to a different plan to qualify. If you're SURE you qualify based on your plan, add it yourself online. I'm all for hating on big companies, but pick a better reason.

If your account qualifies, it will be applied regardless of whether you add it through Costco or T-Mobile directly. Keep in mind the OP's advice on what it doesn't stack with since you run the risk of getting the line for a monthly fee if you try to get a free phone out of it...
Thanks. Free line is offered by t-mobile. $540 rebate for iphone or $810 rebate for galaxy phones is offered by Costco. They are not stackable to each other?

Does anyone know how to benefit from the free line if I won't be needing it for a year or so? Not sure much about Digits but if anyone has experience from moving to Digits (other uses) and back to a regular line?

If you add a free line, you are only responsible for the taxes (I think), so you are only losing 40-50/year. I would not try to mess with changing anything on this line, unless you absolutely want to save that money.

Believe it all you want....but it WILL CHANGE.
Later on these are the same folks who bitch and moan when the line converts to a paid line saying they got screwed by T-mobile. The Ops post clearly states not stack able despite the wrong information by the rep. By that time, it's too late to return the phone. Can't wait for the blow back next month.

Hey,

Thanks for your response.
I just got off the phone with T-Mobile and my account is NOT eligible for this promotion. I think I have the same plan as you... the OLD 55+ plan.

But the rep asked me if I "every" had any issues with Tmobile AND I HAVE... hahaha I have had MANY Issues were

SO after I told them my issues, they gave me a $30.00 credit Smilie
Yeah, i got some issues with signal after I moved to a new location and i got some credits from time to time, that's very nice of them to do that ^^

Has anyone had success in getting T-Force to go back and apply a prior "On us" free line?

I was able to get offer 3 and 4 but I missed the first 2, and would love to be able to get 1 more free line.

Just figured I'd ask here before I tried with T-Force.

No big deal if not, I'll just wait and hope T-Mobile offers another free line sometime in 2021 Smilie
I don't think this is possible...
