Costco has $100 rebates, and T-mobile has $100 rebates. I tried to claim both of them at the same time.
What is T-mobile $100 rebate?? port-in rebate wasn't expired?

Do the fees change for over the phone vs chat ?
Fees is the same. For the most part they insist you do it yourself online so you dont pay the 20. You have to pay 10 for sim no matter what. And when you add a line youself online, it will show the full price of the line $25 or 20 depending on plan. You have to add, and if you qyalify, it gets adjusted later. Mine didnt change and when i contacted, I was told i wasnt eligible. So had them remove the line. I am not paying $15 for a line that i dont really really need

If it happens, you will be paying 20.00 at least for the line and locked in for 24 months. Read the terms of the Oneplus 8T. May not be combinable with some offers or discounts. That is what they will use against your complaint. Think about it, why would T-mobile offer a free phone and a free line to you? You will get the free phone, but the line will be paid. Although the rep suggested , rep could be wrong. Op clearly states this is not stackable. If you are ok with paying for the so called free line, then fine. However, when folks start complaining later on when they don't get the free lines, it's T-mobile fault. Have fun chatting with T-mobile reps in getting this resolved. CoolCool
Right and I understand that. And if it happens, it happens, I'm okay with paying it.

And if it doesn't happen, then I got a free phone and a free line. I'm willing to take that chance.

Weird. Instead of a separate "2020 Line On Us 4", I'm seeing a bigger discount on my previous "2020 Line On Us 3" promo.

It previously said: "$20 2020 Line On Us 3 (Additional Lines)"

Now, it says: "$40 2020 Line on Us 3 (Additional Lines)"

Did he give rebate paperwork without you providing imei?
I had to give him the imei, he said he couldn't add a line without an imei, is that true?

Few people reported that their rebate got denied including me after applying to both Costco and T-mobile rebates.
This is the message I received from Costco promotion department:

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, as we are a third party vendor and can only process rebates based on information we receive from Wireless Advocates, we are unable to process your rebate(s) without their approval. Please contact the Wireless Advocates Customer service team for further assistance with your request and inquiry. Please include a copy of this email for their reference. You can contact them at [email protected]

Basiclly Costco removed my file entirely. I can't even see any record. I contacted them about the issue and that's their anwser.
When was this....November free line or September free line? Did you go back to your Costco kiosk and ask them? Costco rebate is denied after how many days?

The customer Rep on the phone said that this "2020 Line on us 4" will kick out my "2020 Line on us 3" and charge me 1 of the lines. Did anyone else get this same reasoning from the customer rep?

I added the line on 11/24/2020. Kios can do nothing. The only thing they can do for you is to give you the paperwork and show you how to get the rebate. that's all.

that's weird and it shouldn't affect your previously obtained free line, call them again and talk to someone else, a lot of the times the reps don't know what they are talking about.

just to be clear on the website is there a way to signify that you are adding the line for free so that it gets adjusted down later if your plan qualifies? When I use the add a line for free link in the beginning of this thread it doesn't show up as add for free on tmobile website. My rate plan does qualify as I followed the steps and it matches.

Unfortunately no way you tell it anything. But if you are sure it qualifies, go for it.

Does Tmobile offer phone upgrades / discount without adding a line? I already have 8 lines...don't need anymore. Have 6 Iphone 6s Plus and 2 Iphone 8s Plus. TIA

I keep checking this thread every couple hours and read the most current few pages. Can someone tell me whether anyone has successfully seen "Line On Us 4" yet? I'd rather not try to add while it still says Line On Us 3 again...
Yes, this is also how it shows up in my account after they changed my plan to be eligible for the free line. Now wonder if I should check tomorrow and ask for the real free "Line On Us 4" and get another one. Wink

Call or chat TForce and ask if your plan qualifies. If they say yes, tell them you will add it online unless they can do it for free.

For the Costco promotion, I am guessing it was $200 for byod. Did u
1) get a new phone promo either from Costco or T-Mobile for that same line ?
2) since u also apply for T-Mobile port in credit, did u enter the original byod number assigned or the new ported number for the $200 shop card ?
