If your promo isn't working under your account properly try this (worked for me):

Still on TMO ONE All In Promo plan (FRLTUL2LP) which is never eligible for free lines?
This is a great (grandfathered) plan as it gives you 2 lines for $100 or $80 after 2GB data limit kickback on the 2 lines (or even less if you have the plan with T-Mobile employee hookup code). Plus with the additional promotion you get HD streaming, 10GB full speed hotspot and twice the international data speed (256kbs instead of 128kbs).
BUT... this account only supports 3 lines and unless you got the one free line they offered once under this plan you never got and will never get a free line with the plan.
But if the plan works out for you can move to another T-Mobile One plan (FRLTULF2) which cost a little bit more (2 lines for $120 or $100 after kickbacks) but you will be eligible for the free line and hopefully for additional free lines in the future (the plan supports up to 8 lines in total). The reps are also be able to move the kickback and ONE Plus promotion to the new plan. They might not do it immediately for the new free line but this is also possible and might need another try.
Plus the new plan includes $10.99 Netflix Standard HD account contribution which also needs to be factored in as a bonus.
If you want to get out of that hole and make the change here is my conversation regarding the plan change with T-Force on Twitter:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=14402398
Then I called 611 at night and asked the overseas team to also add the promo add-ons to new free line so that all lines on the account have the ONE Plus promo (no kickback on the free line of course):
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=14403126
Summary of the process and overview of changes:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=14403958
As I wrote it needs some time and the right reps to make it happen as I struggled with reps in the past to switch to a different T-Mobile One plan and not ending up with a Magenta plan and losing the kickback and One Plus promotion.
Good luck!

Regarding costs to add new line
If you add the line via the website, youll pay $10 for the SIM card to be shipped to you.
If you add the line via a phone call, youll pay the $10 SIM card charge and also $20 for assisted set-up. It is relatively easy to get both of these comped.
If you have a spare sim-card or eSIM, you can use that instead of paying $10 for a new one (bear in mind that it may not be able to do SA 5G). You will need to call since the website does not allow re-use of old cards. (You can also do this via online chat support lines like in-app chat and t-force on twitter)
Expired cards do work, but you have to request a replacement. Again, no SA 5G.
If you have a Costco near you, they will give you the sim card and activate for you for free.

Prior Sept. 2020
Simple Choice (I think I had SCFUTT4)
5 lines (2 lines/$80 + 3 lines/$10 each) = $110
Data Add-Ons ($55):
2 lines x SOC: "SCUNL2HHS", name: "Unlimited Nationwide 4G" ($20 x 2)
1 line x SOC: "V6GXDATA", name: "Unlimited High-Speed Included w/ 6GB Mobile Hotspot" ($15)
1 line x SOC: "6SFMGGBB", name: "Unlimited High-Speed Included w/ 6GB Mobile Hotspot" ($0)
1 line no data ($0)
Discount Code: "EMPGSA" (-15%)
$110+55= $165 - discount = $140.25 plus taxes
After Sept. 2020
Simple Choice "SCFUTT6"
6 lines/$120
Data Add-Ons ($55):
2 lines x SOC: "SCUNL2HHS", name: "Unlimited Nationwide 4G" ($20 x 2)
1 line x SOC: "V6GXDATA", name: "Unlimited High-Speed Included w/ 6GB Mobile Hotspot" ($15)
3 lines SOC: "6SFMGGBB", name: "Unlimited High-Speed Included w/ 6GB Mobile Hotspot" ($0)
Discount Code: "EMPGSA" (-15%)
$120+55= $175 - discount = $148.75 plus taxes
I'm currently not receiving a discount for (Line On Us 2 - 20Q32S). Is this because the representative changed my rate plan to SCFUTT6 when I added the line?
Can I receive that discount while being on this plan that has a base rate for 6 lines? If I can't receive the discount while on this rate plan, can a representative look up my previous rate plan and switch it back, so I get the discount?
Next, the representative I've been working with won't adjust the data SOCs on the 3 lines that have data add-ons totaling $55. Any idea how I can ask another rep for adjusting the SOCs? If I can get all my data for free, I'd drop trying to get the discount for the Sept line that I'm missing...Any advice on what to do, how to maximize discounts, and decrease my bill is greatly appreciated.
Lastly, in November I successfully added "2020 Line On Us 3 - 20Q43S) with data line soc: "10SFMGB", name: "Unlimited High-Speed Included w/ 10GB Mobile Hotspot" for $0 plus taxes. I'd like to add another line, but would like to get my September issue resolved first. Just mentioning the SOCs as a reference point, in the case it helps anyone.

The last two lines were free, so they cant apply kickback to something which costs $0 (I did try, though)
They applied One Plus promo when I asked. I mainly cited that my other lines already have it, and Id like them to all have the same feature set. No problem on the three occasions that I have asked them to do so (2017, last month, and tonight).
Mind you, all three occasions, the One Plus Promo was no longer openly available. In 2017,I couldve added the full One Plus (with more in-flight browsing, more hotspot, etc) for $5, but I preferred the free one. I cant remember fully, but I think the 2017 rep added them because my account was created during the time the Promo came about.
Now, activate HD video streaming and 10GB of high-speed Mobile Hotspot data for no extra charge. You will also get unlimited data in 140+ global destinations at twice the speed (up to 256kbps), included free.
"Magenta includes unlimited data on our network with taxes and fees included in your monthly price. With Magenta, you get unlimited text and 2G data in 210+ countries and destination. Plus, get up to 5GB of 4G LTE data in Mexico and Canada at no extra charge. You'll also get 3GB of 4G LTE mobile hotspot data, and then unlimited tethering on our network at max 3G speeds. You also can text for free and get one hour of free Wi-Fi on Gogo®-enabled flights. On all T-Mobile plans, during congestion, the small fraction of customers using >50GB/mo. may
notice reduced speeds until next bill cycle due to data prioritization."
I travel a lot, i wonder how can i get " unlimited data in 140+ global destinations" for free under the plan? Thanks!

Looks like Tmobile One plan has better features/add on, etc than Magenta.
I googled it sound like Tmobile converting the Tmobile One plan a while back ago to Magenta, so any new customers like me can only choose Magenta or Magenta Plus (beside other diff plan they offer, too), Thanks, Repped.
