When does this promo end?

Every time I've called about free line promos in the past, T-Mobile has told me my "2 Lines TMO One All In Promo" does not qualify. I still only have 1 free line, and I expect I never will get another free line because T-Mo always exempts my plan. Meanwhile everyone else with cheaper plans will probably end up with more free lines than I have fingers.
How is it
T-Mobile
that some loyal customers on the frltul2lp never qualify for anything( past 2 free line offers). I mean if you don't want members thats one thing, but I have been a loyal customer over 10 years. How come you can't just migrate customers that want the free line to another plan that is similar in cost? Why is it if I was a new member in September and got an insider hookup code(20 percent off) I could have a Magenta Plus plan with 4 lines (2 free ones) by now and only paying $112 a month and getting netflix. Kind of feel like new customers get a better deal than old customers. We don't even get an option anymore. Tell me why its worth staying with
T-Mobile
at this point?

You have to ask reps to move you to the 2 for $120 plan (SOC FRLTULF2). That's what I and a lot of others did. You then have to ask them to move over Kickback and All In Promo over to new plan and also add those add-ons to new free line(s) for consistency. It works but it can be a bit of a hassle.

How is this different than just getting the magenta plan?

Here is my conversation regarding the plan change with T-Force on Twitter:
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=144023981#post144023981

Then I called 611 at night and asked the overseas team to also add the promo add-ons to new free line so that all lines on the account have the All In promo (no kickback on the free line of course):
https://slickdeals.net/f/14713250-t-mobile-customers-add-a-line-for-free-starting-december-20th?p=144031265#post144031265

As I said it needs some time and the right reps to make it happen as I struggled with reps in the past to switch to a different T-Mobile One plan.
Good luck!
Thanks and repped. It's going to take me a bit of time to read up on all of this and call T-Mo (I'm sure they're quite busy now). Lots of stuff (for all of us) to do before Christmas! That's why I asked earlier: does anyone know when this promo ends?

The newer plan would move you over to the $120 plan from your $100 plan, or $96 from your $80 plan if you include the hookup discount. Its easier just to use the Pre Hookup discount price as it is easier for everyone to understand. Best to do it via chat or T-Force as they quite often make mistakes, agent or the system.
OK. I don't understand all of the differences in promos and plans yet (I'll have to do more reading later). I think everyone is saying if I move to this new plan I won't be blocked from getting free lines any more, but I'll end up paying $20 more (i.e. $100 after kickbacks instead of $80). I'll have to think if getting more lines is worth $20 more. I really only need 3 lines (which is what I have), but if I could get more lines for free I'd do it.

Before I ask Tforce if anyone knows let me know.

Can Tforce switch numbers between the lines? I would like to move my wife's number to the new free line (as this doesn't have kickback) and the new number to her current line.
I was able to answer my own question after some back and forth with T-Force on Twitter and it seems to be possible.

ME:
I am very sorry, it still doesn't make sense to me. Smilie You said: "No matter the number, the line created on 12/21/2020 is not eligible for Kickback, while the line created on 11/29/2016 is." So if [my wife's number] 6747 is moved to the [new free] line created on 12/21/2020 that line would not receive a kickback which is fine. But [the new free line number] 7957 would then be on the line created on 11/29/2016 which supports kickback if used less than 2GB. This is how I understood it would work. Or do I still mess things up?

T-FORCE:
Thanks for allowing me to do a little more research. So what we can do is a number swap, to switch the line associations. This will allow your wife to use the free line created on today [as it is free she can use as much data as she wants] and then the number created today would be swapped to the line created in 2016 [which supports kickback and would trigger the $10 discount when data used less than 2GB]. We do suggest that you wait at least 2 bill cycles to do this, just to assure the promotion for your free line is in place and no concerns are caused. You can just reach out to us here after the timeframe and request a number swap between 6747 and 7957. All of the notes I have posted will be here as well as our full conversation.

They NEVER announce the promo end date. We normally find out JUST before it ends(the Thanksgiving one lasted for 1 week. I wouldn't be surprised if this one ends 24th or 27th.

Now this is a big deal. my mom in-law uses a ton of data and has no discounts, while my own mom barely uses any, yet she has the 50% off BOGO deal from 2017.

Did it take a lot of explanation and rep-roulette to find someone who would do this number swap?

Can we just visit Costco to get free SIM card or we have to add a line there (mandatory)?

I have exactly the same plan as yours. When did you get your third free line? I was told this particular plan capped at 3 lines. But I am very curious how did you get the third free line which I was never able to do so from all previous free line promotion.

You're in control as you choose what companies you want to spend your money with. If you feel T-Mobile isn't treating you well, you should definitely spend your money elsewhere.

Yes, you can port-in a number (including GV) and it won't affect the free line promotion.
