Yes, that definitely makes sense. That was actually my main concern when they switched me to SCFUTT6... My base rate was $100 previously. I specifically asked if I got the free lines, and I specifically confirmed that the price was $100 before any add-ons, and she said yes, which is the weird thing. (Our price was $100 base + $40 in data add-ons for $140 + tax total).

She said "Your price shows $160 online, but your bill will include the $10 discount per free line, bringing it down to the same $140 + taxes that you see now.

Is she wrong and did she mess up our plan? Previously, we were on FUTTVN, paying $80 base, $10 x2 for add'l lines, and 1x Free line, and $40 for data add-ons. But that plan capped out at 5 lines... I asked to be transferred to SCFUTT4, but she said she had to do SCFUTT6 instead due to the line maximum... Strangely, I asked a different rep altogether to confirm our price hasn't increased (via T-mobile app), and he confirmed the same thing she did over the phone.

It's still showing online as $120 + add ons without the free line discounts, which is $20 more than we were paying previously.

As a side note, is there anything I should be doing differently to try and get the unlimited data promotion applied to our account (I tried both SOC codes you recommended, lines 78 and 122 on the spreadsheet)? Both people so far said they tried to apply the SOC codes but it didn't work. I did succeed in getting bumped to 4gb on the T-mobile App, which the lady was not able to do over the phone. Better than nothing haha.

I start by mentioning the free upgrade to unlimited data for Simple Choice loyal customers, and then ask why we weren't included in that since we've been with T-mobile for over 20 years (truth). Then I tell them I have an insider friend who told me I should be able to get it while staying on my Simple Choice plan, and act kind of clueless but tell them about the SOC codes that someone who knows what he's talking about told me would work.

I now have 4gb data included on each line, still trying to get unlimited for free but haven't been successful yet. I do have the option myself to upgrade to 6GB + data stash + binge on for $15 on each line, which honestly isn't bad.
Based on dishguy's reply to your previous post on page 188, your rate will go up $20 because you now can have up to 6 lines vs the 4 for $100 so I am not sure how why the 2 reps are telling you that.
You might want to get some clarification on this because (unless I am mistaken) if your new line is counted towards the 6th line of the $120, I would assume that 6th line would qualify for the add a new line promos since you are not offical taking advantage of the free line promo? It wouldn't be until your added a 7th line that would count towards the free line.

I'd quote dishguy but I dont know how to do multiple quotes on mobile.

I have 3 free lines now. How long are they free? Do they stay free forever, or do they become paid after 2 years or something?

People need to read the FARKING ORIGINAL POST PLUS THE WIKI before posting the same damn questions over and over. And stop trying to combine Costco $100 rebates or free phones with the free line.

Folks, take it'll only take 5 minutes to read the OP instead of hours of frustration being on the phone with T-Mobile asking them why you aren't getting credits that you weren't eligible to get in the first place.

OP clearly states it cannot be combined so why are you trying to get this deal? People who are doing this will probably have some headaches in the future trying to fix it when the free lines becomes a paid line. If you want to get the free line and avoid issues on your account, just combine the offer with something like 50% off a phone, not one of the free phones, clearly stated not stackable with this offer.
Thanks! So I will not try the oneplus 8 trick. I do however want to get iphone 12 mini after iPhone 8 trade in. I think this is not conflicting with free line offer as iphone 12mini doesn't need a new line anyway

I just saw the second part of your reply. Since you already have the $20 data option add on (assuming it is unlimited high speed) you should be able to get that option because $5 more gets you unlimited vs 6gb depending on your needs and budget. But can't beat free unlimited if you are able to get it..

I am actually speaking from experience Smilie since I only had 4 lines on the SCFUTT6 back in 2017 when one of the first free lines came out. I added that and when I found out I got 6 lines included, I had them add 2 more lines (thinking the free line would be free and I'd get 2 more lines included) but I ended up now paying for the 7th line. When I talked to the rep for whatever reason she said another line was added and cancelled within 3 days of the promo so I got disqualified which I never did.

So it could be that free lines carry over after the included lines in the plan are met but in my case it didn't due to some weird thing in my account. So just be sure to confirm that and see what socs are applied to your account.

Is 50% OFF via monthly credits for sure will work with this deal? Also, I added this free on 20th, can I just order phone on the website and system would pick-it up? Any idea, if pixel comes unlocked? https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...ixel-4a-5g

Oh for sure, that's what I was thinking too when I looked at my account. But I was told 3 separate times that I would see an additional $20 discount on my bill that isn't visible in the account... If that's the case, great, but I'm thinking I should probably call again and try to get a supervisor on the line...

Am I eligible on "TIUL4L" T-Mobile One with 8 lines currently? Last time this deal came around the store rep told me my rates would mostly because I wouldn't get the kick back anymore but it seems like another grandfathered plan is able to get around it?

There is not mention in OP of the Samsung buy 2 get $1,000 off Bill Credits or $810 rebate at Costco. Those interested should pursue those with Tforce or 611 to confirm

Damn that sucks. I'd be pretty pissed if I was you about paying for that 7th line.

I actually didn't realize my plan had 6 lines included until i saw your posts which kinda makes sense now since for 2019 cyber Monday i had ported in a line and also got the free iPhone 8. The rep told me the porting in line would also be free because of some 5th line free promo which I had not even heard of but I'm aint complaining

Not sure if it will pick it up automatically, but to avoid any issue, better if you order via T-Force on Twitter/Facebook and tell them what you doing and if you are able to get in on the deal because if the system doesn't pick it up automatically, then you have it in writing and they are pretty good about fixing these type of issues if they've confirmed you should get it.

I can't wait until "2021 Line On Us "
Be ready !

For who ever just want a free line (period).Nothing else If you SOC code is on the list.

Go on to Ebay, buy yourself a un-activate sim card for less than 5 dollors it will good at least a year.
When the time comes use that card to activate and you will see your promotion post on your account immediately.
Also it will save you a headache and activation fee if you ask CSR nicely. This way you will have your sim card ready to use and real number instantly.
Remember this sim card for voice and data line only.
NOT FOR TABLET OR WEARABLE. Use as hotspots.

Can't wait until the next free line and another 200 pages of the same questions on and on...
