Sigh. 0 for 3, trying both T-force on twitter and 611. I'm on the TMO ONE All In Promo plan (FRLTUL2LP) and trying to move to the Tmo One with Netflix (FRLTULF2), and keep all my add-ons. Closest was 611, overseas, but she was trying to move me to Magenta and said that even with FRLTULF2, she couldn't move my kickback over, as it was only for my original plan.
Does anyone know where to find these competent Tmo reps who can make the switch and keep everything intact? Reddit? I know I only tried 3 times so far, but my friend was able to do it, and the last time, the queue time was an hour before I could speak to a rep.
It really is roulette. Overseas is actually the easiest if you want straight up SOC change. There is the "hammer" of executive response, but that is only when they really "screw up" something...as opposed to trying to get some sort of fringe benefit.

I actually NEVER get what I want via T-Force. They take hours to respond, and by that time, I am asleep..,and when I finally wake up and respond, someone new comes on, and asks the same questions again. (It took two days to get back 83 cents)

I have called north of 100x (three years ago) to get stuff done. You have to be hungry for it. The main thing is to simply thank them and hang up if you detect that the conversation is going nowhere. You will also need to establish some sort of rapport before asking something this major. I suggest lumping the call in with some other minor concerns.

I would be very direct and say that you anticipate needing to add 4+ people, which your SOC flat out cannot do. Say that you did not know that your plan had this limit, and that its ridiculous.

Also mention that you prefer the cheaper netflix over the 3 gigs of hotspot data provided by magenta.

And finally, just be direct...many many others on reddit and slickdeals are able to negotiate this change. Also get their rep ID.

Doesn't work for former Sprint customs. Oh the nightmares I had to deal with. When I go to sign up it still says I'm a Sprint customer. Called about 10 times and went to 3 different stores and no one knew how to sign me up. The merger was done months ago and yet they can't figure this out. I tried this the last time they had this promo and when they had the 20% so when I say 10 times and 3 stores that's over all 3 promotions.

Chiming in on my *hopeful* success of adding the One Plus Promo and Kickback (addons) to the lines on my One plan that didn't have it already. I have three (paid) lines that were added to my acct after the start of mine, and after the Promo and Kickback programs ended. I never considered they could be added, but from the success stories I read about here, I decided to give it a shot. I first tried TForce thru Twitter, and the rep said she had to submit something to another dept but seemed hopeful. Instead of waiting, I then tried 611 in the evening and was connected to (most likely) an overseas rep. She saw the lines that were missing the One Plus Promo and Kickback addons, and added them back. I checked my acct right after and at least 1 line has both now that did not, and I'm expecting the other two lines will follow suit shortly. She did not see the recent free line, but I didn't ask because I didnt want to push my luck and I did not receive the sim yet. I'll try to add the One Plus Promo on that free line later. Just wanted to say, there is hope - give it a shot!

If you went into store to "verify" and still no luck, sounds like you have both the "former sprint customer curse" plus the "sprint fraud flag". Going into store will only clear the former.

I dealt with this for some time, and eventually had to have Exec. care help me out. By the time they worked things out, they could add the what would be "FLOU t4th line free" and could add the hookup, but they couldn't add the initial "3rd line free" for some reason. which made the effort useless to me. . .this was my wife's account in efforts to grab an account started with a base of hookup and free lines in the future in Sept. vs. my account started in June with more free lines, but no hookup. After much adieu, they finally agreed to add the hookup to my account ( so as I would take on her lines) as they could not get that initial 3rd line free + the FLOU2 both attached to her account. . .hope this helps, but it was a random YMMV

What is the new discount showing up in people's account? Is it 2020 Line On Us 4?

I added a new line and looks like discount is reflected on my account but it falls under "2020 Line On Us 3" though. It used to show "$20 2020 Line On Us 3" before I signed up for this new line yesterday and now it is showing "$40 2020 Line On Us 3".
I notified the same thing on my account. I added a new line a couple of days ago too and was looking for the "$20 2020 Line on Us 4" but instead saw "$40 2020 Line On Us 3", it used to say: $20 2020 Line On Us 3".

SD forum search is not great, it may have been posted somewhere and a long shot but can you remove a line then add one?

Did the text come to your main number or the LOU3 line? Asking because mine is ported over.
It came to the account holder number, which is also the number I chose to receive the $200 loyalty rebate.

No, removing a line will disqualify you from this free line.

You have to convert Sprint Plan to T-Mobile plan.. Because they treat you like grandfather plan which do not benefit to any T-Mobile promotion.

I know Wiki says Oneplus 8T+ promo cannot be arranged with free add a line, but 611 says they can, essentially a free phone. I have grandfathered Simple Choice. Is this accurate??

Ask them what SOC (https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...340439917) that would be and then check and confirm yourself before making a mistake.

I was on the same plan (FRLTUL2LP) until yesterday and then had luck with a T-Force rep on Twitter who allowed me to change to the T-Mobile One plan 2 for $120 (FRLTULF2) and moving kickbacks and All In One promo over to the new plan. This plan is still a bit more expensive ($100 for 2 lines after kickbacks) but
- it finally allows to add free lines (and I hope there will be more of those in 2021)
- it has Netflix Standard HD included or with a $3 supplemental fee which my wife wanted to have anyway
- I still have a separate $15 T-Mobile Connect line which I can then stop paying in favor of the free line

So for me it worked out. The 611 overseas rep was then even able to add the One Plus Promo add-on also to the new free line.

I, for one, would like to thank you for this info. I was one of those that was stuck on the FRLTUL2LP plan with the one free line that was given out years back. Since then, I've been watching all these free lines go past hoping that I could find a way to switch plans to be able to qualify for these freebies that keep coming up. The only option I was ever given was to switch to a new Magenta plan which didn't include the international data which was a deal breaker for me. The only other option I had was to wait for a hookup code and go that route with a port in.
After going the default route of the T-Mobile app and being denied, I tried the method of messaging a T-Force rep on Twitter as stated. Basically said that I was told that there might be a possibility of switching from the FRLTUL2LP plan with a max of 3 lines, to the FRLTULF2 plan with the max of 8 lines with all the benefits of the All in promo intact with just a small increase in monthly. The rep was extremely helpful and awesome and was able to switch everything over to the new plan with all the benefits intact on all lines and able to get my 4th free line added. Applause
Looking forward to the next 4 free lines to make this extra $20 month worthwhile LMAO.

I recently added a free line this November when this was FP. Appears to be the same thread, but want to make sure. Is this the same promo?

I agree. We all should be very grateful for what OP has done.
We're just discussing the conflicting messages we're hearing.
And I was surprised to hear that T-Mobile would convert a free line into a paid line in two months because you signed up for another 3rd party promotion. I think a more likely outcome is that your $100 shop card rebate would just be denied.
