My mother has AT&T, and I want to port her into my plan. Does she need to be present during time of port-in if I have all her information?

Nope , all you need is her cell number, account account number and account pin

Two questions:
1. Is this a separate and distinct deal from the Nov Line on Us 3 deal?
2. Can you get this at Costco (I'm guessing they wont hand out a free SIM if you say you want one)?

Need help!
I added a line ( free line) at Costco a few days ago, was given a random number at the time, now I want to port in a permanent number to replace the temp number. Do you think I should replace this temp number from Costco or replace one of my less important existing numbers? as I might eventually submit the Costco cash card rebate ( $100) Thanks.

Thanks and repped. I have read the thread before, didn't order at the time , as the prices for the phones going up and down, so I didn't follow closely, I think it's a little bit tight now to have the sim here and activate by the 31st ? Now debating. Hopefully this get extended. Thanks s much for the help.

I decided to take advantage of the free line offer just before Costco closed today, activating a line for the first time there. I changed the assigned phone number on the spot and chose one in my area code. I see the assigned # on my account now but assume it will change to the new #.

For the $100 online rebate, do I use the original # or the new number? Thanks!

I believe you need to use the new number, as the rebate form specifically says that you need the perm number. Also as I remember it was suggested to use perm number when we had the November adding a line deal.

Thanks. Amazon shows that the sim will be delivered on Dec 30, while the phone will be between 30 and jan 4, might be too rushed.

I added a line at Costco a few days ago, also bought a A11, I was given two rebate forms , one for $100 cash card, one for the free after rebate ($162) A11, haven't decided if I should submit both, as people here saying that the rebate might void the free line, but personally I think this may not be an issue, the worst case is that they deny the rebate. I was given a temp number on the spot, but I am thinking to port in one from another carrier to replace the temp number, I will file the rebate with the port in ( perm ) number for the rebate.

I did the same thing as you today at Costco. Did they give you a SIM card or the SIM card is in the phone? Thanks.
