A radar detector is an active counter measure. It detects a threat by itself.

Just joking. Had this for a couple of years. The best deal rn if you don't need arrows. Range is excellent.
If it senses a laser there's a highly unlikely chance you're alone on the road. If a cop is just in a general spot scanning random cars, it likely won't be yours if you get a heads up with this range.
