Seriously, I have an LG G8 with 128 GB internal, and 128 GB SD card. I've never been over 50 GB on the internal memory. IMHO, 128 GB is perfect for the time being. More memory is cool, but I wouldn't PAY more for it.

It only has 15W charging. Not even 18W.
Try putting in FLAC musics, uncompressed 4K videos, and ISO games for emulators and see how long that space lasts.
Something a memory card can do and far cheaper and you could make easy backups.So unless it doesnt have one why pay a premium get a newwr phone that cost the same and get a memory card 🤔
Pixel 5 seems to be a good option. Pixel is always top tier when it comes to cameras and it's stock Android so no samsung installed apps. That also means you get updates first compared to other brands. Pixel 4a or 4a 5G if you want something cheaper and the same size as S9. Don't expect a big improvement to display and performance if you go with 4a though.
