General question: Has anyone seen a difference in mobile coverage area using a 5G phone vs an LTE phone?
I have a Note 10 plus with 4GLTE only and would only upgrade if there was a major difference. I travel for work and get a lot of dropped calls.

Great deal for existing customer. Not sure which model to order. Don't need the Spen. Currently have a LG V60.

Verizon 5G coverage is extremely small. Also, as far as I know, there is no voice-over-5G yet.

no shiny glassy back? that's an upgrade to me. wish s10 had plastic back. replaceable like in old days.
I agree, backside made of glass was the worst design. My S8 plus was broken on the same day I purchased, until then I was thinking back cover is metallic..lol.

Anyone knows if trade in values via xfinity are worth it? Page mentions going to the store to get a quote from Assurant. If they find anywhere close to what Samsung gives, it could be a great deal

I can keep going. Samsung is garbage.
Really? They got rid of MST in Samsung Pay? Why would they do that? That was the biggest, exclusive differentiating factor in Samsung Pay. That's the biggest reasons I stayed with Samsung. They bought the original inventor/company and made it exlclusive to Samsung.
Samsung Pay works *everywhere*. But No MST means that's not longer true?

Yep! Camera upgrade and incremental snapdragon update isn't worth losing all those things. Samsung is pulling a Galaxy Note 5 by removing the micro SD.

Without MST/SamsungPay I'll likely get out of Samsung. There are twenty other Android, and Iphone options. MST has been the single thing holding me inside SamsungPay. Can't imagine why they'd get rid of it. Any legal or contract issues??

When I tried a while ago it was a really low offer.

It is only a guess but I think they are probably ditching MST because the USA is one of the only markets that still uses a lot of magnetic stripe readers. It is so frustrating how many companies have the physical hardware in place that could take NFC payments but they don't implement it because they want to do their own garbage wireless payment systems (*cough* Walmart Pay *cough* Kroger Pay *cough*).

I'm in a 5g area for verizon or so my phone says. It's no better than LTE speed wise from the test I've ran.

But there are two different types of 5g the sub6 and mmwave I think? I'm in the wider reaching slower variant.

I don't think 5g is worth it yet, maybe in two years

Wit, so how can I be an existing customer and get this? If I'm existing, I don't have a number to port in. Which this deal requires.

No port in required, I just upgraded my line. You pay full price, 24 payments. They send you a $400 prepaid card. Once they send you the prepaid card you can make a one-time device payment (using the prepaid card) if you wish to cut your payoff term in half. I did this with the S20 on my account as well. It does take about 12 weeks to get the prepaid card, but still worth it.

EDIT: for existing customers, you have to make sure you are logged into the xfinity mobile site to see the upgrade offer.
