Also, for the bad OS, that can be fixed by running off a $50 Google TV or fancy nVidia Shield Pro. Let the external device stream and be your interface.

Thanks for you comment. I too own the same version and was hoping you could expand expand on what you don't like. The picture is close to my LG OLED, but agree with most, OS is crap. I was able to play with the settings and super happy with the picture. Not attacking your comment, just trying to help.
Lol thats best case, but most of the time I have input problems. Sometimes the TV will not see different inputs randomly. Vizio actually sent out a tech to replace the motherboard. It helped for sure but I still have problems.
Anyway, it sounds, like you, we wouldn't be using any "smart features" (we only use an AppleTV for media consumption), and we use a single input all the device input switching (the ATV and a couple of game consoles) is done at our AVR.
Thanks to the OP for posting this, about 95% sure I'm pulling the trigger on one of these today.

I'm still hoping for the Sony x90h 😂
That makes 3 of us. Either that or the Samsung 80t

2) Agree the smart tv part of the vizio is horrid. The smart cast/apple play is fine. To be fair, my samsung smart tv is cruddy. So far the only the Roku OS and sony has a decent built in streaming platform. I have a fire tv cube and roku hooked up to this TV. If you use an external box it will fix almost all of the issues with this TV.
3) I have not had any technical issues with the TV except, sometimes it does not turn on or.. i feel like it takes longer to turn on than I think it should.
4) I find the bloom and subtitle bloom to be annoying. Try to back down the local dimming.
On the whole, the TV has been great. I still like OLED and plasma more for many applications BUT for a sunny room with an xbox, I would say this is the TV to beat.
You can you google TV chromecast or firestick 4k for issues with OS
Does not help with input issues. My vizio tv will not see some inputs randomly. Even tried changing cables AND went so far as to change devices. No consistent luck... I even had to get my motherboard replaced.

Oh, I don't have any input issues for my 3 vizio Tvs and all three are using with Firestick 4k and I don't have issues for me
My issue was on an lg soundbar, samsung soundbar, xbox one, xbox one x, xbox series x
