Few days ago , same card had "5% cash back on grocery store purchases (not including Target or Walmart purchases) on up to $12,000 spent in your first year of account opening"
I have two Freedoms and a Freedom Unlimited. Can I get this card and the signup bonus?

Does anyone know when this $200 promo will be over? I know its been around for quite some time.
I want my wife to get one, but trying to space them out 15 mos between applying so we can in effect have 30 months 0%. I recd my card the 1st of the year.
Did you mention about cell phone protection on this card?
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you have to pay your bill with the Flex to get the insurance. I have Verizon and have autopay and paperless for the $15 discount, but have to use a debit card to pay. I tried paying my bill with the Flex when they had the 5% CB for phone bills, but if I did that I would have lost the $15 discount...pffft
So I recently applied and was just accepted for the Flex card. Found out not via a letter, text or email, but by logging into my existing Chase account, where I already had a checking, savings and the Freedom and Ultimate cards, and saw a new card with a significantly higher credit limit than the other 2 cards. When I clicked on its rewards page, it mentioned the $200 bonus after spending $500 within 3 months. Great, so far.
Thing is, although I was supposed to get 0% APR for the first 15 months or so, it listed a very high APR of at least 25% or so with no mention of the initial 0% APR for 15 months. Is that just because it was just added to my account and the system hasn't fully completed the setup process, and I just have to give it a few more days to complete?
Also, there's no feature that lets me get the full card details so I can start using it before I get the physical card in the mail. Is there a way to do this, as there is with new Capitol One cards, or do I have to wait for the card? I have 3 months to spend that $500, but I actually have some things I need to buy now so I'd rather not have to wait.

With Chase credit cards, you have to wait until the physical card is delivered to you. There is no way to get the full credit card number, expiration date and security code in advance via any online method. However, you can call Chase and ask them to expedite delivery to you -- tell them you have pending purchases ready to put on the card. There are many data points where people have been able to get the physical card sent overnight FedEx delivery. However, getting it overnighted is not always 100% - some customer reps just won't do it.

I'm pretty sure all the Flex card accts get the 15 mos 0%, so you can prob ignore that high interest rate as well. I'd call them, maybe they can give you the details.

What about the APR being listed as 25% or so? Should it go down to 0% for the first 15 or so months once I get the physical card and activate it?

Maybe I'll do that. I'm guessing it's due to the card being added to my account but not yet fully set up. It's not like I can use it till I get the card, anyway.
No prob. I'm sure I'll find out soon enough and my guess is that it'll go down to 0%.
Update: When I logged into my account today I saw that the APR was now 0%. Didn't say for how long but I assume it's 15 months, and I'll find out for sure when I get the card.
Yes, but still have to hold a card with unnecessary overhead. I don't think it matters if you have other primary CCs you use.
I'm not sure what "unnecessary overhead" means, but the prevailing wisdom is that cancelling credit cards shortly after receiving a sign-up bonus is a bad idea. But do whatever you want, obviously.
In any event, this is a pretty good card to have if you care about accumulating points. You're not going to find that many cards that do better than 5X/5% in a given category.

FYI
call bank branch ahead of time and ask if this is available before you go waste your time.
Thanks for the tip. I went in today to the branch and signed up to get the additional 5% grocery.
Canceling will hurt your credit score.
