It's pretty thin so not much protection. I personally do not like bulky covers.
If only it had Qi wireless charging and was slightly cheaper.
All that plus wireless charging for less than $100?? OK
It comes with Android 10, NFC and all the updates through October 2020. I have mine on T-mobile. The band 71 does improve signal quality.
I love the Motorola haters because that means Moto phones will remain inexpensive.

* Motorola doesn't seem to be supporting it
* It doesn't work with all carriers
For me, the main reason to buy this device is if you need NFC support at this price. There aren't many new devices with NFC support at ~$100
No GSM sim yet but the spec are nice and I want to try the camera. Thought about returning or flipping but covid put a damper on that. Also the restock fee at BB was ridiculous.
While I like Moto phones and think they provide great value I prefer the Pixel lineup. This G7+ should do just fine until a deal comes up on a Pixel 4a 5G. Then I can repurpose this G7+ with one of the free add-on lines we recently scored from T-mo. I wasn't planning to buy a phone today but this deal worked out. Thanks OP.

NFC isn't a deal breaker for me as it's just a backup device. No plans to use Google Pay or share content via NFC.
Which device would you go for? I feel like my hands are tied on the Moto side with a 2021 model because the 2020s won't have good software support.
I feel like the Moto G Play or G Power (3gb RAM) models are my likely choices.
Prefer to spend $200 or less.
