I have 805 fico and they decline my Application for Venture credit card and wasted 1 credit check. I won't be applying any Capital one credit card anytime soon.
Call the reconsideration line, could be an error on the app or a typo. Happened to me before
Keep in mind that you'll also get a hard pull from all 3 bureaus anytime you apply for a Capital One credit card.

A general question about what you usually do after getting the rewards. Do you close the cards?
Keep it open since there's no fee and long term it'll help with credit score -- just make a small purchase once a year to let the statement generate so the card doesn't close due to inactivity (I do that with all of my unused cards)

Can someone help answering this
Need to transfer my credit dept from other bank to CO and want to know if there is any impact on my credit score?
Thanks 😊
I have BOA platinum rewards card. It has no foreign transection fee and earns 2.65% cash back for every purchase without any limit.
The catch is you have to have $75K in their account which include brokerage account. So if you have a large brokerage account balance, this card might be for you

I would also keep a small rewards balance on there ($1-$2) since CapOne might have an Amazon promo once in a while if you apply rewards:

Similar Amazon promos come up for Chase/Amex/Discover/Citi cards so I keep those cards as well
If you don't borrow money why does a few points on your credit score matter??

100 reps. The only reason to get any of these offers is to get FREE MONEY,,,and maybe a credit to card that gives you more we cash back.
If you need to buy things and then make only the minimum monthly payment,,,then you shouldn't have bought those things .
