I have 805 fico and they decline my Application for Venture credit card and wasted 1 credit check. I won't be applying any Capital one credit card anytime soon.
Call the reconsideration line, could be an error on the app or a typo. Happened to me before
Keep in mind that you'll also get a hard pull from all 3 bureaus anytime you apply for a Capital One credit card.

Not recommended to sign up for a credit to get $200 bonus and then be 20k in debt and destroy your credit, not a good deal
Also not recommended to sign up for a credit to get $200 bonus and then take scuba lessons and get eaten by a shark. Neither of these things is a requirement of this card, just don't be a moron and enjoy your $200
Besides the bonus, what makes this card better than a 2% card?
No foreign transaction fee, virtual card numbers, and the SoFi 2% needs to be applied toward a SoFi bank account I believe, whereas on here you can apply your 1.5% to anything you like and to the Capital One rewards stuff.

People do what they seems fit. It's like telling them not to eat junk foods lol. People like them is the reason credit card company keep giving sign-up bonus hoping them to hook on as well as pay late fee, interest.
what happens if I spend the $500 but return something I bought, putting me under the $500 spent, would I still get the $200? Should I wait 3 months before I return it?
I opened this card years ago
I closed it
It stayed on my capital one bank webpage as a closed account for ~2 years
One day the card disappeared from my cap one webpage
I took that as the queue for me to qualify for the bonus again so I went ahead and signed up, spent my usual money on groceries, etc
Now, I'll close the account out and it'll probably sit there again for a couple of years until I can do the bonus again. EZ PZ
I got a email from capital one saying I qualify for a upgrade with my same credit line of $4300. With no credit check, I guess I might be lucky or not. Btw my credit score is 810.
Me too. I I have 820 credit score through chase and they still decline my Application for Venture credit card and wasted 1 credit check. I got approval for all the major credit cards which I applied in the past. I will not be applying any Capital one credit card any more.
got the 200$. bought a PS5 for 500 plus tax rom PS direct after being on the waitlist since last year, I was adamant not to support those scalper prick low lives.. So the $200 helps.
Got approved for this with a $5k credit line, but hilarious APR at the end of the 0% 15 month term. 26.9% interest. LOL Card will be getting closed right after.
Just don't carry a balance and APR won't matter. If you can't pay it off at end of month it means you can't afford it in the first place

To limit sharing, is it only way through phone call to update privacy choice? I would prefer online or through the app.
