I almost gave it 'thumbs down' and posted a smart ass comment denigrating the OP... but thanks to @BTspkrguru's comment, I ordered one w/ Amazon card (5% back)! Rep to him!
I'll thumbs up, if OP gets his sh*t together and fixes the title. This should be front page, IMO... I've been eyeballin' this model for friggin ever
100% of Android apps that scan bluetooth require location permission. This is because security researchers were able to pinpoint people's location based on bluetooth addressed and signal strength. So now Android requires any app that called the bluetooth scan API to receive permission from the user to "know" their location. They aren't going to go to the trouble of actually triangulating your location, but they can, so Android warns you. You can still scan for the device in the Android settings and connect that way, and then you don't need to grant permission to anything.
Is the turtlebox for $350 at 120dB a better deal? Isn't 120db over 100x the power of 100dB due to the log scale?
Is even the W-KING D8 at 50 watts and $65 a better choice?
It's so hard to find definitive info on how loud these things go. All I know is the Soundboks is the loudest battery powered bluetooth speaker I have found. At least without DIY and soldering.

If you have Unidays, you can take 20% off from Ultimate Ears directly, and it'll be $320 instead of $340. Slightly cheaper.
I picked one up a couple weeks ago and couldn't be happier.
