Picked up the black S55 back during thanksgiving and love them. Now trying to get the rest of the set and only the white have been on sale. Guess I gotta keep waiting.
He discusses two of the speakers on sale. Not good lol.
Not sure which reference audio he used to compare these. I only ask because I'm a little confused that the bass and mids would be described as weak in any way. The S15s sound great in my opinion. Granted I haven't tested all the other ones he mentioned but after upgrading from the Polk T15s, I noticed a huge difference in the left and right channels, especially in a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. They are very crisp, without trying to sound like subwoofers, which a subwoofer should do lol.
Are the other speakers marginally better? Maybe. But if you're a Polk guy and want to upgrade your setup, these are an amazing value.
I have the Polk RM75s (4 satellites + 1 center) and 2 x 12 inch velodyne subs for a 5.2 setup. I'm moving into a new home soon and want a second set up so I got the Jamo 5.1 set posted on SD. I'm wondering what you think is better between the two and how do these signature series speakers compare? I'm assuming these signatures are better than both sets? If so, how do these signatures compare to the Infinity collection that quickly went OOS posted here a few days ago.
Thank you all in advance for your opinions. I recognize these things are very much subjective but I'm feeling overwhelmed. My use case is 60/40 split of music and movies with a bigger focus on movies.
I agree, I have polks in black so I had to think this over. This is the lowest price I have caught them at so I personally couldn't pass based on color. Ultimately I am using them as surrounds and the grills are black so I bit at this price. I figure if I hate the white I will grab some tape, a can of black spray paint, and go to town.
Better yet, grab some black vinyl sheets. NonDestructive and even less work

I bought the S30 and a pair of S50 a few weeks back. The white walnut finish looks great. Paired them with a pair of bipole surrounds and polk ic 60's for atmos. Added a denon receiver and a SVS pb1000 subwoofer and my total cost came in less than or equal to the high end atmos soundbar. What an amazing difference this set up is.
I have the whole S series setup s35 center, s55 fronts and s15 rears.. Sound great for music, I find the AV receiver has to be in the right setup for these to perform.. I am waiting to upgrade my receiver but they are great speakers. Paired with dayton audio 15 sub provides enough low end boost. BTW the Dayton subs are very under rated.

Didn't think of this, great advice.

Plastidip would be much better than paint!
It might look better but it takes a lot of work.
The S10 is what I really wanted. The smaller size is easier for me to mount well.

NOTE: Looks like the S15 is what's on sale here, not the T15 being reviewed in the above link.
