I have the X60. Bought from Costco about 5-6 months ago.
About to return it due to constant restarting / WiFi drops.
Reset it numerous times, even to factory default....still drops.
Had the cable company bring a new modem....still drops.

Never had the issue with a Linksys EA9500.
Incorrect, most people will never saturatue both bandwidths to bottle neck their speeds or connection with wifi 6. I dont know anyone who pushes over 1Gbps on multiple devices at all times to make a dual band system choke?

Different gear for different cases.

Thats cause the technology in the X60 is superior to the triband Deco M9+. While the Deco M9+ is a great system it cant compete with the X60 in performance and throughput.

A M9+ with optimal client and close range can push about 550 Mbps while an X60 around 750-800 Mbps.
Obligatory "wait for Wi-Fi 6e to drop big money" comment

Hi

,Hi,
so if we are using in Accesspoint mode we can't use the Parental Controls? we can use Parental controls only in the Router Mode?
can you please help
That is correct.
In Access Point mode, the Parental Controls are not available. The only special routing options available is "Blacklist" and "Guest Network". "Fast Roaming" and "Beamforming" do still work (and sorta the point of mesh networks).

My network is wired as:
ISP -> modem -> router -> switch -> Deco1/Deco2/Deco3

All 3 Decos are wired via CAT5E to my switch like any WAP.

Thanks for the reply.
this is what i'm planning
ISP -> modem -> DECO1-> switch -> Deco2/Deco3
or
ISP-->Modem-->Switch-->DECO1/Deco2/Deco3

Can we do ethernet backhaul to Deco2 and wireless to DECO3.
Suggestions?

Pretty sure you have to have a "router" of some sort (Deco1 or other) right after the modem.

I think you can mix and match ethernet and wireless backhaul for Deco2 and Deco3.

Hi,
can you please let me know if this how ur back-haul is

Modem-->Switch-->2 DECO's and it's in Router mode or AP Mode/

please advise.

Thanks,
Yes it is ONT (coming from outside home) -> 1 DECO Modem ("master") -> Switch -> Switch2 -> 2 DECOs (for wired backhaul). All are in Router mode.

That is really weird! I have all my Decos on ethernet, although my topology is slightly different. Although it should not matter.

when u say "3rd one is always in wireless" what exactly do u mean? What does the "Signal Source" say when u look at the network properties via the mobile app?

Can u try using the other ethernet ports? Try them one by one. I vaguely remember having trouble with some of them.
