About to return it due to constant restarting / WiFi drops.
Reset it numerous times, even to factory default....still drops.
Had the cable company bring a new modem....still drops.
Never had the issue with a Linksys EA9500.
Different gear for different cases.
Thats cause the technology in the X60 is superior to the triband Deco M9+. While the Deco M9+ is a great system it cant compete with the X60 in performance and throughput.
A M9+ with optimal client and close range can push about 550 Mbps while an X60 around 750-800 Mbps.

,Hi,
so if we are using in Accesspoint mode we can't use the Parental Controls? we can use Parental controls only in the Router Mode?
can you please help
In Access Point mode, the Parental Controls are not available. The only special routing options available is "Blacklist" and "Guest Network". "Fast Roaming" and "Beamforming" do still work (and sorta the point of mesh networks).
My network is wired as:
ISP -> modem -> router -> switch -> Deco1/Deco2/Deco3
All 3 Decos are wired via CAT5E to my switch like any WAP.

this is what i'm planning
ISP -> modem -> DECO1-> switch -> Deco2/Deco3
or
ISP-->Modem-->Switch-->DECO1/Deco2/Deco3
Can we do ethernet backhaul to Deco2 and wireless to DECO3.
Suggestions?

Pretty sure you have to have a "router" of some sort (Deco1 or other) right after the modem.
I think you can mix and match ethernet and wireless backhaul for Deco2 and Deco3.

Modem-->Switch-->2 DECO's and it's in Router mode or AP Mode/

Thanks,
Modem-->Switch-->3 Decos in Router Mode. I can only connect 2 deco's in Ethernet and 3rd one is always in Wireless. Any Advice
TIA

when u say "3rd one is always in wireless" what exactly do u mean? What does the "Signal Source" say when u look at the network properties via the mobile app?
