Are you genuinely concerned that someone is going to skim your data somehow? Which scenario are you worried about?
This is what I was thinking too. The chances of that happening are probably slim to none. I haven't even heard of this happening to anyone at all let alone me. And in the odd case it does happen, just call your bank or CC and make a fraud claim.
Seems that also in the event that it were to happen they would be missing your critical other information:
The 3 or 4 digit security pin on the card + along with your billing address, billing zip code
Based on the dimensions given, this wallet is actually about a half inch larger in length and width to my current wallet and has just as many pockets (and isn't beat to death). I imagine those people were actually looking for a checkbook or something similar and didn't know what to look for.
