Got this about a year ago
Vacuums up about 80% of the hair- which definitely makes cleanup easier!!!!
It's nowhere near as great (i.e. faster, sharper, quieter) as some of the higher-end trimmers, but for $30 can't really complain. Also it uses a wall wart style AC adapter plug, which I personally find a little annoying, but if you put it on an extension cord it doesn't really matter.
Depending on how much hair you have (mine is insanely thick) you'll have to stop every once in a while to empty it out, but hey that's less that's in your shirt!
As for value, I'd say if you plan to use this at least 3-4 times, it'll pay off for itself, otherwise you can probably hold off. If you need something a bit higher powered, you probably wouldn't even be considering this and you would be getting one of those big vacuum-attachments for those pro-end clippers.

Anyways, tl;dr worth the price and I can't wait to get a real haircut again.

Got one a few years ago and its been great. Holds up and the vacuum really helps minimize cleanup.

I have to agree that these types of clippers pay for themselves in a hurry. I've been cutting my hair for at least 6 years, and even though it took a little while to feel super comfortable with it, I do at least as good if not better than where I was having my hair cut anyway. I can pocket the money now!

I've had a Wahl clippers for decades for haircuts, etc. Started shaving my head about 20 years ago. About five years ago I stopped shaving and starting using Wahl clippers without a guard every few days as I prefer a little stubble compared to the slick look (helps hold a hat on my head, a little less ugly although there ain't fixing me but every little bit helps). Anyway, cleanup stinks so excited to try this clipper. Thanks op.

I Bic the noggin in the shower a couple times a week but I have to Agree, a little bit of stubble is like Velcro for hats.
