It's now two generations old, but it's going to make pocket holes all the same. The K5 is a little more automated and quicker. The newest one is even quicker since it uses their AutoMaxx clamp tech.
Still . . . unless making pocket holes is something you do 100x a week, I doubt the higher versions are necessary.
Hmm, seems same as Harbor freight one which is 65 regularelly, plus 20% off coupon.
Any reason to get this over Harbor Freight ?
There's no such thing as a 20% coupon anymore.
The HF pocket hole jig works well with only one thickness of stock. The Kreg K4 is adjustable to have a correctly angled hole come out in the center of the wood for stock thicknesses between 1/2" and 1-1/2". Plus, the drill block is removeable to take to pieces that are impossible to clamp in the jig.
My local Lowe's has had the same dusty 3 of these on the shelf for months. They dropped to $84.99 two weeks ago and still show at that price on brickseek. May need to swing by and pull the trigger if they are $65 now.

Just to know, harbor freight is no longer issuing 20% off coupons. They are pushing their insider track club.

Half decent deal, IF you are looking for one. MSRP is like $99....
Still $85+ around me.
