For those complaining about issues, start a warranty claim with Logitech. It has a two year warranty. I continue to buy Logitech because my kids are really hard on their devices and Logitech has one of the best warranties out there.
Just like others here, I recently noticed a double click issue. This should not be a common issue. You'd think if X keeps happening then you'd remediate it... I've only had it for about 3 months too.

Logitech RMA is trash. Not only does it leave you mouseless and shipping off your relatively new mouse but you're also waiting for your new one. They take forever to respond. Their customer service is pretty piss poor. Had I known about these common issues with the G502 HERO I'd have just bought something more solid. Definitely never buying Logitech mice again. I'd recommend against it despite the cool aesthetics.

the left click spring is weak in these but I still love the mouse, I wish they come up with a way to fix it, because I have to keep buying them over & over after about 6 months to a year usage playing fps games..... but I love the design and extra button setup of it.

I have an older model one and love it. It's starting to fail on my clicks sometimes. I notice it while playing my FPS. Thinking of getting this for her cut finally gives up on me.
yeah the spring is definately weak on these, I don't know how many of these I have bought just because I love the mouse but I have very heavy hands and these have crapped out on me pretty frequently..... I need the button setup for fortnite though, lol

Ok I have FIVE of these. I purchased the original one, which had a clicking problem.

They have replaced every single one up to my current mouse.

So yes, they 100% do have problems. But they replace them so well (and I really do love the design) I can't bring myself to get anything else. I now have slightly defective backups for every computer in my house.

We've had this on our home PC just over a year and starting having the "double click" issue w the left click (click it once, but it double-clicks). There's no fix for it, unfortunately and it's a well-known issue that's effected multiple users that Logitech are not taking ownership of.

I bought this mouse to replace the awesome G500 mouse that ended up having a bad left click. I can't believe this model has the same issue. Love the mouse though.

I've had two develop the dreaded double click, so who knows when they are going to fix their switches.

I bought the G502 Proteus and after some months I started having problems with the mouse clicking by itself. I contacted Logitech and their customer service was great. They sent me an upgraded mouse for free. A week or so later I got the G502 Hero. I used it without trouble until it started acting out about 2 months ago. It would disconnect and connect back immediately. It would not hold a click so windows would drop in the middle of dragging them. And it would also click by itself. I have gone back to the G502 Proteus which is the previous version of this mouse. It acts out but it does less than the Hero version. I have to say that I'm not impressed with the quality of these mice, specially considering I use them for office work during the week and gaming like once a week. So I shouldn't be destroying them. I still have a cheap $5 mouse from years ago that works perfectly btw. I'd like to think I take care of my stuff. Maybe I'm just unlucky.

Just got this and tried it. Worst scroll wheel clock ever. Returning it.

Used this mouse for four years. Been through the wringer. Got wet. Dropped. Raged on.

It's a tank.

I love the scroll wheel. Button placement is solid. I love how heavy it is. Helps with steadiness.

Buyyyy

Walmart priced matched this but when I added my receipt to my Walmart add it came up as a different item. So be careful and always save your guys' receipts.

Gaming experience I came from a heavy clunky urlhasbeenblocked mouse same style as the 502 but way lighter. Played Warzone for 2hrs and had no issues what so ever but will take some time to get used to.

Note that Amazon is currently shipping this G502 as the "Hero Sensor" model, which is the upgraded 25K DPI sensor. This was true since at least the 24th when I ordered, but not quite sure if/when the "Hero" (16K DPI) was superceded or if the main channels still offering/emptying old stock.
