Left click went out for me after about 9 months or so. I blame all the left clicking in Rust before I knew other shortcuts.

Fortunately, these are incredibly easy to take apart and fix. You can get a micron switch replacement online and with a cheap soldering iron and desoldering wick you're back in action in 1.5hrs tops.

Thanks for this bud. Saving this for the far future

I have the G502, just bought the Razer Basilisk to replace it and I hated it. Gonna key it for my other pc but G502 is better for me

G502 is definitely leagues better than Basilik. The Basilik has its bugs which no one seems to mention here in this thread.

When the G502 first came out I thought Logitech would never make a better mouse than the G9X for my claw grip, but now occasionally using my G9X again I realized the G502 is better in every way and definitely my favorite mouse.

I change the side scrolling MMB buttons to just register as MMB in the jank-lousy-constantly-resets-itself-crappy-constantly-depressing Logitech macro software, it's a great mouse if you can get past the lack luster software and the mmb and personally I'm occasionally left wanting for another 1 or 2 buttons on the thumb side.

I have one of these. Loved it for a year. It's Currently sitting on the floor next to my office desk waiting on me to replace the switches. Lasted me a year before the notorious double click issue surfaced. Was real annoying when gaming. I bet people have this issue and don't even realize it. There are websites to test for the issue and mine double clicked two out of every 100 clicks. From what I've read, Logitech used cheap Chinese Omron switches in these. They're inferior to the Japanese Omron switches which last a lot longer. I got the Japanese ones, just have to find the time to solder them in.

My favorite mouse of all time. Mine's been working perfectly for years, still glides on my bare desktop like it's on wet ice, but I'm thinking I'll get another so I can use the new one while it's on warranty and have the old one as a backup. Just the right size, customized to exactly how I like it, but most important to me, the super clicky mouse wheel. Most are so sensitive it's damn near impossible for me to use it to select items in a game without constantly scrolling past, and on this mouse I can click the mouse-wheel button without accidentally scrolling.

EDIT: Just ordered from Target. Besides the extra 5% off for using the Target card, there was a 10% off coupon for electronics, so it came to just over $34 before tax.

Grip is funky compared to the g500 and the dpi selector often gets tripped

For those complaining about issues, start a warranty claim with Logitech. It has a two year warranty. I continue to buy Logitech because my kids are really hard on their devices and Logitech has one of the best warranties out there.

Have 3 wired G502 SE Hero. After a year of use, my main one started having a problem recently where holding down left click doesn't sustain (breaks drag-and-drop). Getting ready to RMA that one. I love these mice, it's just a shame there are issues, but I'm going to keep using them and make sure to have spares when they break.

I have a wireless Basilisk X, and it's fine as long I use the USB receiver and not Bluetooth (which has issues), but I like the feel of the G502 better and I find my aim in games is better with the G502.

I had this mouse as well that started experiencing the double clicking issue (a known / common problem) after about 2 and a half months. I did get a warranty replacement on it, but I keep it as a spare now. Other than that issue I liked the mouse before the issue, and after soldering in the new switches actually made it feel much better than it did from the factory. I would probably recommend it at this price, but unfortunately it left a pretty bad impression on me and switched to a wireless Razor with their optical switches as my primary / daily driver.

For sensitive scroll wheel, I liked it better after changing to scroll 1 line per click. 3 was too fast imo. And sometime I leave it in infinity scroll mode, and try to Control + scroll and it sudden zoom out a lot. But fine when in click mode.
