What am I missing something..does it come with a charger for the controller?

Edit: the male-male usb cord is the charger. Although looks like it could take a 12V barrel charger too.

Yeah, I think the manual says 12v/5A, so pretty standard fare a lot of people have around with hard drives etc...

Got mine today and of course it's effing defective. P1 side won't pair to any device for more than a second. P2 works fine.

Sorry to hear people getting defective devices. Mine arrived this afternoon, and I have had a blast with it... just tested everything working perfectly. Just using it as a controller hooked up to my PC with usb. Configured Mame controls to use it. It was easy plug and play. Tested centipede trackball, increasing sensitivity and speed in Mame analog controls, and played Jr.pacman, Defender, Vanguard. All work perfectly. $99 well spent and a steal!
I Also tested and configured future pinball on my pc, but the button mapping was wonky and took me an hour to figure out the buttons to configure. I couldn't program the nudge buttons, only the left joystick was automatically a nudger. But it works great too.

Lol, I haven't touched the Atgames stuff: built in games, coinopx, wireless Bluetooth puck yet...That will be my next project this week after I purchase a new flash drive.Either 64gb or 128gb.
-----
Note: mine came in a brown cardboard box with Atgames name....Not the fancy artwork white box, as seen In some YouTube reviews.

After a day gnawing it over I purchased it early Saturday morning and it's due to my place on Friday.

I figured it'd be the perfectly priced thing to try to get me over my depression/anxiety hump as there is a lot of mods I can do with it. Purchased a few 64 gig flash drives as well. I honestly haven't been this antsy to receive something in quite awhile!

You will want the 128GB, and tonight I'm just finding out that Coinops is awesome, I receive mine tomorrow. hoping for a working unit as I have now seen a few in this thread get defective units.

I received the 2 I ordered today, set one up, and tried a couple of the built in games.

The quality of the controller seems pretty good. I like the buttons and the trackball better than the joysticks. The initial pairing was kind of a pain, but I eventually got it to work.

The case on the controller seems really nice and solid.

The emulation on the puck seems decent and the games look really good. For example, I have the Retrocade and Heavy Barrel on it looks awful. The AT version looks great.

Overall, I think it's well worth $99. I think I'm going to buy that pedestal for one of the units, and maybe keep the other one as a backup for 4 player? Not sure yet.

What kind of pairing issues did you have and how did you solve it?

Does anyone have any experience with an item like this with Squaretrade warranty service? Would I get a refund versus repair? The trackball is dead on mine and I can't get an exchange.
More than likely refund. My brother purchased a cheap $400 tv from walmart with the allstate plan. They didnt even bother to fix it and just gave him his money back. So i doubt theyll attempt to fix this.

Are you able to connect Bluetooth headphones to the puck in any way?

It was weird...I originally paired it with the first joystick the first time fine, but then when I went back to pair it with the second joystick it forgot the first joystick and thought that the second joystick was the first to be paired. Then neither one worked.

What I ended up doing was unpairing the second stick, then powering off BOTH the puck and the controller, and then fired up the puck and immediately pressed the pair button on it. Then I fired up the controller. After that, I paired the first stick first, and the second stick second, and it ended up working fine.

Grrrr I'm starting to get pissed. I ordered this thing about 3 days ago well before it was out of stock. Mine is still showing estimated arrival date of March 21st. It's showing as preparing for shipment. Hasn't changed status since I ordered it. I called Walmart customer service about an hour ago to see what's going on as I've never had this happen before. She told me the item is out of stock, and they'll ship as soon as they get more in. So I'm most likely going to get canceled by the looks of things. Even though they were still selling them online a full day after I ordered mine.

Has anyone confirmed if you need to sign in to play and it requires phoning home? I may just rebuild my Pi 4 with Retropie and use this as the controller. I don't ever plan on having this device go online.

Has everyone updated to latest firmware? Looked like from watching a few reviews on it there was a lot of problems with pairing which new firmware seemed to clear up.
