Once I pair device 1 and 2, it says "Device connected successfully" and gives a MAC address and a "Dismiss" button.

Dumb question: what button do I push to activate the "Dismiss" button...?

I would assume "A", but both blue lights are blinking by the power button, and that makes me think they are not really connected...

My stick arrived earlier in the week and my bat tops came in yesterday. Hooked it up to my wire shelf arcade and it works pretty well. It'll be nice to hot swap from an MK button layout to something for SF or KI. Not bad for $99.

What kind of shelf is that? Did you buy it set up like that or did you have to craft it yourself? I was wanting to find some sort of custom cabinet, but this looks really nice.

How do you do a factory reset on this device?

Edit: I found the instructions, but could they make it any *harder*? I'll try it again...

Edit #2: I had to read the instructions more carefully and make sure I had the USB connecting the two devices.

Thanks! This was my pandemic project last year. I had the MK sticks and wanted a full size cabinet feel but have zero woodworking skills.

I picked up 2 wire shelves from Target (36" for the sticks and 72" for the screen), got a 40" TV and a refurbished PC workstation from Newegg.

Bought two of these- got them today. Opened one and Installed the saUCE...

The lagging feedback from the joystick makes this thing Garbage. (Try playing any of the Pac Man games...)

I may try a few more of the games tomorrow- if the feedback is still non-responsive, they will be going back.

(Edit: Some other forums suggest making sure the Control Top is fully charged- so I'm giving that a whirl to see if it makes a difference.)

Also make sure that your tv is in game mode... this is the most common source of "lag" (it's actually video lag due to the correction and smoothing process, but it is perceived as controller lag)

I received my unit this week and I cannot get it to recognize any flash drives. I've tried 3 so far. I've tried the two partition method on 128 and 256GB drives, and they're not showing in flash drive X at all. I've tried the 2 flash drive method as well, with a 32GB and 128GB and neither are recognized either (via a USB hub). The unit either locks up when the flash drive is plugged in and does nothing (I've waited 15 minutes), or I can still move through the menus but the drives never show up in flash drive X. I'm on firmware version 5.25. Anyone have any suggestions? Did I get a bunk one?

Haha yes plug it into the core(puck). The controller top usb part is just to charge the controller top or if you wanna hardwire to the core for less latency vs using it wireless.

Well thank you sir. I feel like an idiot...definitely don't recall reading to plug it into the core in any of the threads I read, or videos I watched. Oh well. Now I've got it formatted and mounted and will see if I can figure out how to get coin ops x installed and working.

Now onto "no coin ops x file found" lol this was supposed to be easy.

Same. I read to plug it back into PC, then re-mount and it works! Awesome. I've been dinking with this on/off for the last 2 days. I have a smaller build of sauce (48GB) on here now, may switch back to the 78GB version I had previously. This is all for my brother. I just built a Micro Center 3/4 arcade kit at my place, which is running retro pi and is somewhat working, albeit with kinks to work out. Busy week of arcade stuff!

Thanks again for your help!
