Just a guess but I wouldn't expect atgames to do much of anything even if it stopped working in warranty period. Also wouldn't be surprised if they closed the doors at some point. Which makes me wonder how useful the core will be. I know the sticks can still be useful.
I'm wondering about that myself. I had to open up a support ticket with ATGames because one of my buttons (1P RT/RT2) is kind of sticky. Depending on how you push it, you can feel something rubbing inside and clicking as it depresses. I emailed their support, no phone number of course, and initially got a generic reply asking for pictures, receipt, etc. I sent it in and two days later got a reply back saying my request was "forwarded to the warehouse" and I would get an update when the replacement part shipped. That was mid-last week, and nothing since, and now pending shipping info showing up on USPS/UPS/Fedex's app. I'm wondering if they are going to actually send out a replacement button or just jerking me around since I read their customer service sucks. It's playable, so I'll keep it either way (and maybe just replace the button myself), but I'm hoping they fix it.

Agree mine keeps losing bluetooth and i am 7 feet away! I really wanted to like this but there are too many headaches here
Did you update the firmware yet? I see in other forums that newer firmware helped a lot in bluetooth connectivity.

I wasn't quite sure about buying this but after spending the time to get Secret Sauce 4.5 and CoinopsX on it, I'm fully convinced that this is the best $100 ever spent. The degree to which CoinopsX recreates that arcarde feel cannot be overstated! It's so good.

There was much discussion over having to beam home to play with CoinopsX and I was reading through dozens of pages reading up on it. At the end of the day, I came to the conclusion that I was spending way too much energy being bothered by this requirement, that whenever I fire up a Switch, it's beaming home and if you don't take a firmware update, you can't play any games anyway, so why were so many people getting bent out of shape about this? I think having the CoinopsX experience erases these concerns. "But what if Atgames changes its policy" or "What if Atgames pulls the server and you're stuck with a brick?"... I guess we'll worry about it when that time comes. And I'm sure there will be plenty of development around Legends Pro so there will be hacks/mods available.

Few questions:
1. I do notice the control lag from being wireless (yes, I've updated firmware to latest). Legends Pro has wired option right? If you're already using the USB port for your ROMs, how would you connect the stick to the puck?
2. What's the best way to play games like Ikari Warriors where arcade cabinet had a rotary stick? The default mapping for rotation is to the track ball, which obviously isn't going to work. How about Forgotten Worlds?

I updated my firmware and have the same lag, and lag is present in the health check..and I am 2 feet from the puck. Lag goes away when I plug it in usb to the puck - which now makes it a wired device. I am sure most will be ok with it being wired, but one of the main reasons I bought it is for Bluetooth.

If you could share how to do this it would be greatly appreciated! TIA

>FWIW, I did a factory reset, paired everything on the stock firmware, *then* flashed the new firmware. Then everything paired okay.

From memory on some of this:
Factory Reset:
https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=146057722&postcount=553

Pair the devices on stock firmware:
* With control panel hooked up to the puck with the USB cable
* Go to Settings
* Go to the thing that looks like Pairing (I forget what it's called)
* Press and hold the pairing button on the puck
* I think it walks you through the pairing; you may need to do a short press on the puck pairing button to change to P1, P2, etc. I forget
(If that doesn't work, post here and I or someone can help you out)
* Once pairing is complete, go to "Health Check" (or whatever it's called) and test P1, P2 and trackball
* If everything is working, proceed to the next step

Upgrade Firmware
In Settings, go to the thing that looks like a firmware upgrade. Sorry, but I forget what it's called.
Do the upgrade.
Once it is done, rebooted, etc. REMOVE the USB cable that was connecting the control panel and the puck
Go back and re-pair all controls again
Once re-paired, re-test to make sure P1, P2 and trackball are all working via Bluetooth

I hope t

Don't plug USB drive in until the end:

Bluetooth consistency depends on positioning of the puck. When the puck was placed behind the TV, I could not connect. When the puck was in the line of site, I had no problems. I only wish the green led on the puck was dimmer, less obtrusive..

Got mine, went from "created label" to "on truck for delivery". I had ordered a 2nd when it went back in stock, assuming the first one lost, and that one has supposedly shipped as well.
I disagree, or at least that's my initial impression before really using it. Top is ok, but the bottom being plastic makes it feel pretty chintzy. Hopefully once I mount it I won't notice. I give them a pass since it was obviously made to be portable, but I've owned other lap arcade sticks, even console-oriented ones, that were mostly wood. Thanks for the info about the lag, I'll be on the lookout for it.
Since I'm not using the bottom - I don't even notice it. I really don't care that's it's plastic, as long as the plastic is strong enough. On top of it, it's black plastic so I really don't notice it... the top, the contols, etc. are what's actually important.

So I wanted to say that this was most definitely worth the $99. Especially after the coinx addon. I have been intrigued with arcade emulation since the first release of sparcade which pre-dates mames. From my memory it was the first arcade emulators released and started off with like 9-11 games including galaga. I have collected mame roms, dephne setup for a long, long time. When I was 13 I met Ricky Dyre who is the creator of Dragons Lair just after her company shortly went out of business. I even owned a space ace, dragons lair laswer disc and a halcyon laser disc player. I have the dragons lair program for my Atari ST and cable. The few minutes it took to set this up a play missile command, and galaga on a classic controller setup made it all worth it. I don't have a lot of space and even if I did I don't think I want 20 arcade machines in my condo, This fits right it with my steering wheel, and my oculus quest 2 head set. Speaking of which it would be cool if the coinx would work with retrocade on steam as well.

Anyhow, I figured I would share my experience with this nice little $99 find. Glad I jumped on it right away.
