No because I built it all at once so only needed one run of the AddonX utility when I was done, but it took hours. I'd build everything you think you'll want once, as you'll need to re-run for new content. But later runs should be much faster so not a huge deal I suppose.
I tried to set it up like yours. I put arcade cox/UCE in root directory then created folders for the rest, NES, SNES, etc. Ran addonX utility on entire drive. Games show up under BYOG properly. Problem is under CoinOpsX, I have all the arcade and the NES, SNES games in the scroll wheel. The non arcade games have broken art. Did you do something different?

I had the "no coinops file found" error over and over again. I did a ton of troubleshooting until I realized that the AddonX software hadn't run correctly on two separate usb drives I created. (There was no success statement after running. The program simply disappeared). Ultimately had to run the AddonX software on a different computer which resulted in success.

Previously, I had a green check mark showing on the coinops in the UI, but no numbers. After running AddonX software on the different computer I got the success statement. Then, I went to format and mount and run coinops and STILL got the no coinops file found error message. BUT it showed a zero instead of a check mark on coinops. So, I unplugged and rebooted and then had the number 5 show up on coinops. THEN it ran.

Hope this helps someone!

I also have been experiencing issues connecting the control top. The green menu button doesn't seem to do anything regarding pairing. The Bluetooth ...........
The instructions for pairing don't seem to work, nor do the instructions for factory reset. I opened up the box and everything seems fine. It's driving me crazy. Anyone have any insight?
I just received my 2nd unit yesterday, after ordering on Saturday morning 3-20-21. Took one week to come across the country to me from Bloomington, CA. This unit manufact date: 11/2020.
Same issues as you with Bluetooth pairing. I can get P1 to work, but not P2, so I will keep looking into this. I can still use the controller with direct USB only, all controlls work fine that way.
So This unit may not be built as good as my previous 9/2020 manufactured unit, since pinball buttons feel a little loose/ not as firm. a couple buttons on P1 /P2 were mushy with a spring sound.
Otherwise, the box came in perfect shape, with no damage, handled with care via Fedex.
---If I cannot resolve it, I probably still keep it and only use it with direct USB all the time...
My previous 9/2020 unit was near perfect, all buttons felt good, and no bluetooth issues, both trackballs are about the same, with slight rough sound moving in one direction.

- I will keep looking into all this coming days probably taking it apart and reseating buttons and connections.
-I also plan to install Coinops4.5 and a bunch of console games on my 128gb drive.
-I also found Coinops 4.5 yippykai version was missing a few of my favorite old mame games: turtles, jungler, future spy, space fury, crash, headon, red barron, and xenon arcadia, so I have to figure out how to make my own UCE files for those.

Mine actually does not work via USB either, except intermittently and seemingly randomly (less than 5% of the time). Holding either the P1 or P2 buttons like I've seen on some videos/articles has no effect on the Bluetooth indicators, nor does holding the green menu button as specified in the instructions. Already contacted support as well, no response yet. So I probably have a dud?

Did the 6lb spring make things move more accurately for you? I find that the default springs move too quickly (PITA for shooters).
I could not tell much of a difference with the 6lb springs I installed.

Bummer. Have been playing mine on an HDMI computer monitor, then tried to hook it up to my old Samsung plasma TV. Getting "not supported mode". Tried changing the TV to "game mode", no joy.

Any ideas?

Edit: it is an old 720p...is that why?

Mine finally came on Friday, Bluetooth is a no go. It's says it's paired but no movement on the deck. Works fine usb. Coinops works but if I try and fly though games it will freeze lock up and reboot. For what it is, I'll probably keep it. This is what I did on the Bluetooth, if anyone has any suggestions, I would love to here them. Turn on the core, turn on the deck 2 blinking blue lights. Press the button on the core, select player one and hold for a few seconds. Core says paired and top blue light on deck goes solid, repeat for player 2, says paired and have 2 solid blue lights, yet no movement from the controls

Dunno if this will help or not... I had to factory reset the Puck, then pair devices, *then* upgrade firmware (and pair again). Also tried a different cable. Then it worked for me.

Just a reminder to folks. The manufacturer warranty on these is 30 days and their official policy is to tell you to return it to the store if you have an issue.

I was a fan, until their new firmware bricked the puck. Did the update and it just never cycled back on and won't respond to a hard reset. At 99 bucks worth a roll of the dice, but I would not recommend a firmware update if the system is working for you. These were on clearance for a reason and the warranty is 30 days for a reason.

I may try and get the sticks up an running on a pi or on my PS classic, but regretting not going the microcenter route for a few bucks more.

How did you factory reset? Doing it from the settings menu doesn't actually do a full reset, and for me trying it via the instructions on the website (holding P1 and menu buttons on controller while pushing reset button on puck) didn't work...
