I unplugged my powered usb hub from the wall and the puck still reads and gives the hub power. I ran CoinOps and connect to the control deck via the hub so you don't even need a powered hub.
I don't have any anti-virus except the the stock one that comes with Windows. The 1st time I ran addonX it didn't complete, I just heard a couple of beeps and boops while in the other room, went to check and thought AddonX finished. I ran it a 2nd time and it finished with the ending screen, I think AddonX is just a buggy program.
