I finally decided to reach out to Walmart (via chat) related to the one I ordered on March 13 (and is still listed as delayed) and got the following response:

So I should still theoretically be getting it, and for $20 less to boot 😁🤞
did it ship??

No...I contacted them yesterday and they said it was out of stock again. They'd keep the order open for me and email me when it comes back in stock.

Wonder if able to play the 4 player games on coinopsx v5 with a second atgames Gamer Pro set?

Has anyone gotten the 4 player to work? If so , how did you get player 3 and 4 to work?
Quote from atoneapone View quoted comment :
I think 4 player should be possible if both controllers are hooked up to a USB hub. I just got a hold of v5 but haven't installed it yet on my 128gb flash drive.
Might be a couple days before I can test it out. I have to first move some console game files off my drive to make room for the large 70gb coinopsx download and go through addonx tool all over again. How's everyone liking their games so far? I've come across 3 varied opinions :
1) ones who don't have time to play so never touch it much for weeks or months
2) most of us who love it for everything we can play on it/ and hook up to it with the authentic cabinet feel.
3) and the disappointed crowd that cannot stand the terrible input lag that they have experienced in all the games that they play.
(Fortunately I'm #2, and if lag annoys me, then just play the same mame games directly on a good PC )
4 player works great. Just connect all of them via bluetooth (you can wire, as well). In most games the player order is just the order people press start/1P/2P buttons. Some games start with pressing A instead.

Also if you don't like lag, don't use bluetooth. Ever.

I picked up a 10 ft usb 2.0 cable to hardwire in and that totally gets rid of the lag. Also make sure tv is in game mode that helps too. To put unit into usb mode hold p2 button after u turn unit on. Had no idea you had to do that and thought once u hardwired in it would just utilize the usb connection.

I was #3 and going to return it due to the lag. I disabled bluetooth and have a direct connection to the controller. Lag gone. I also connected to a monitor (closer) instead of my tv (far away) so the visual experience is much more authentic. I'm not a fan of playing donkey kong / track and field on a screen 10 feet away.

I just play the controller sitting on a stool 3feet from a spare dedicated gaming TV in the corner of a room.
Have you tried mame32ui on a PC? It takes a little more effort to configure the buttons within Mame (tab button mapping), but I found games play as responsive as with a keyboard and a bit more responsive than coinopsX. So this is like having a $100 controller. If you don't like the way coinopsx or Addonx is running, You could probably sell the core puck with 150 game for $50-80. Value wise that makes the controller only another $30-50. And you could run Coinops Next on a good PC, using this controller. But Imo, I'd keep the puck for the convenience of hook up and getting arcade games on any tv.
------------
I'm finally about to install coinopsx v5 on the console later today (starting fresh erasing my old 128gb v4.5 setup). It was taking me awhile organizing & making room to mix 40gb of console games with the 70gb Arcades, and have multiple playlists to the best encyclopedia of old-school games from the 80s-90s in one setup.
NEW VIDEO INSTALL for CoinopsX v5 >>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1HMqdc0VR0

Update: mostly runs great -- i had to run addonx twice to get things right(~2 1/2 hrs each time--you must get it all right in one shot for proper Alphabetized directory ordering, otherwise all alphabetic directories will be mixed up in a bad way, when using addonx on multiple passes without first erasing addonX folder.)
.... so Now I have the old console games with the v5 arcade sauce perfectly alphabetized in directories to use addonx Instead of coinopsx (sometimes)--total of 6400 games on 128gb drive. My coinopsx is Organized with 20+ playlists. ( I created my arcade and favorites playlists 3 times so I don't have to cycle through so many playlists to get back to the arcades.
...Cool
Probably could have added more games if I removed some Snes duplicates of Genesis games & cox videos for a lot of games.---but will continue with more extra games on another 64gb flash drive.

**Looks like this isn't coming back in stock any time soon for the old low price, so everyone will have to wait awhile for future sales maybe end of year $150 or less...
update: Came in early Dec, March, and April 2022 again @ GameStop >>

Recently the Mini for $50 $61, $71, & $89 was available. >>

**There's also used and open box options, but those may have signs of use, slight cosmetic damage, wifi to core puck may be weak, trackball may be rough, lag issues, or something else wrong.

------------------------
1.) Update:--My 3&4 player experience; also updated wiki with Sauce v5 download link & recent exit coinops bug.
I tested 3 and 4 player builds, & some work perfectly as einzelherz stated above, while others don't always run...
On my setup: I start my games by pre-inserting 4+ coins, First with the LGPro that is usb wired - press P1 and push AorB button, and do the same for P2 on same wired controller, then immediately do the same for BT connected LGPro controller P3,P4 - press P1 & P2 and push AorB button on controllers.; I also successfully connected all 2 LGPros wired, by first starting games in with one LGP in wired mode and after games start, have 2nd controller already in wired mode by holding down P2, then plug in this controller via usb.
Working Games: Gauntlet 1&2, Rampage 1&2, NBA jam games, Teenage Mutant NinjTurtles1&2, The Simpsons, GIJoe, Trog , Pig Out, Knights of the Round, Knights of Valour, 3 Stooges,Judge Dread 3p, Wheel of Fortune,Violent Storm, Undercover Cops, WWF Wrestlefest, Warlords 4joysticks,Wild West C.O.Ws of moo mesa, Armored Warriors,Cadilac&Dinosaurs, Warriors of Fate, 2on2Open IceChallenge, Hit the Ice, DD Crew, Quartet, KnuckleHeads, KarateBlazers,Growl, CrimeFighters, Mercs 3p,DJ Boys 3&4, Battle Toads, Exvania, World of Soccor finals, Gain Ground_3p, Double Dragon3, BruteForce3p, BattleToads, Moonwalker, Nitroball, Pitfighter, SuperSprint 3p, Powerdrive,Musclebomber, + probably more.

(Note: Problem games - when only 2 players work - The fix is to hold Controller stick DOWN and push P1 and P2 buttons, then AorB buttons. - Super Offroad, King of Dragons, Xmen, Xenophobe, Alien Storm, Arabian Fight,Car Polo, EscapeKids, Desert Assault, Bomberman2, Punk Shot, Bucky O Hare, Hard Dunk, IndyHeat 3p, + others. And sometimes games lock up coinopsX and a reboot was needed...—I fixed this on Armored Warriors, Cadilac&Dinosaurs, & Warriors of Fate by changing to a clean UCE file from my original v5 sauce download.).
You have to set both controllers wired or wireless before coinopsx starts up, or else exiting CoinopsX does not work sometimes. So 3 and 4 player is sometimes not the easiest thing to setup. When running games for the first time I used my wired controller for P1&2 and successfully made player 3&4 be BT controller (later I preferred these to also be wired). (I didn't want to BT connect all 4 controllers, but all 4 BT connections may also work well..).

I was hoping to run Marble Madness or arkanoid returns in 2 player with 2 trackballs, but not possible for me.... both trackballs controlled the same player. ( It may be possible but I haven't figured it out yet)

Update2: From the CoinopsX V5 3&4 Player ReadMe files:
I struggled understanding the instructions for problem games that only 2 players work, the past few days, but ...
UPDATE 3: I GOT IT WORKING. After re-reading the instructions :
"HOLD DOWN JOYSTICK in down position" and then Push P1 and P2 for players 3 & 4 on your second LGPro controller." --this works for nearly every game; each player may also need to press AorB button. (only had problems with a few games below and still testing more of the 71 4p games (+35 3p games) but have 70+ working fine + a few more out of the 106 games.
CaptainAmericaAvengers, CaptainCommando,--both required going to advanced config and in dip switch options - set max players to 4 (it was set to 2 on mine)--this has to be done on every bootup of these games.
Spider-man 4p- game crashes out to coinops menu after starting, but I pushed advanced settings menu after it shows mame OK prompt and game started up once.but mostly freezes my system and needs reboot.
SuperHighImpact Football-I Couldn't start a game after selecting all 4 players.....
Dungeons&Dragons - has a hard time starting up, but after running in addonX it may work in coinopsx. Only got it working once, but has difficulty most times.
88games, Track and Field games - still testing 4p. see note in Readme below....
Quote :
the following games require the 3p and 4p
to hold down and start (coin insert)
to get the coin to insert and start:
Xmen 1, Arabian Fight, Captain Commando, Car Polo, Desert Assault, Escape Kids, Quartet, KnuckleHeads,Karate Blazers,
Football Champ (on all 4 players), Golden Axe 2, Growl (just once),

Hard Dunk, Rim Rockin' Basketball, SlamMasters,
Spider-man, The Main Event, The Ninja Kids (on all 4 players), Vendetta, + more...

Tank Force can only hold 9 credits max total or coins will disable,
88 games and track and field use 2 controls & alternate P1/2 and P3/4 which is
how the arcade was also for 4 players taking turns.
---------
2.) Another issue: some games don't load up in CoinopsX right away: some will work on 3 or 4 attempts and others not at all. It Could be my flash drive not going fast enough, AddonX scan or memory running out on puck...unsure..so will have to test more. So Not 100% perfect but I'm still very happy I can run a majority of my favorites great. Maybe read the Readme known issues file in Coinops v5 and see if there are workarounds ...(run them in addonX on some newer games not running). I have also tried changing out the UCE file after it failed, to a clean addonX scanned UCE game file backed up on my PC harddrive- and this seems to get the game running.. Also I use a smaller 64gb flash drive with less games, and for the troublesome games, so I can run AddonX too! Faster for those games. Maybe there are memory running out issues for a few harder to run arcade games on the full 128gb v5 collection mixed with console games....So Probably a good idea to have two flash drives for this purpose. A power reboot of atgames puck sometimes helps get problem games running again. I've also heard that reformatting the flash drive and rebuilding coinopsx folders fresh all over again may help. And addonx tool scan on a ssd/hardrive first and then copy to USB drive helps prevent corrupted files.

Yep. Narcs has had problems on mine and it's one of my all time favorites. I've gotten it to work one time. Every other time it just starts loading and never goes anywhere.

Also Double Dragon froze up on the final boss. A few others don't seem to have the buttons mapped. Otherwise Coinopsx has been a blast and made this purchase one if my all time favorites

Don't throw your ctr board away. I thought mine was broken for 2 or 3 months. And then I decided to remove the ctr board and all the connections to the board. I then tapped very hard on the cpu and moved the capacitor or resistor, Reconnected ithe ctr board and it miraculously worked again. So it could be a loose connection or something else going on inside the controller. I was about to purchase the ctr board a few weeks ago around same price, but didn't need it...

Interesting. My Acura MDX had a bad Bluetooth board. It was due to a cold solder joint. There was a hack to put it in an over 8 min. May be worth a try.

I realize this thread is old, but it's the biggest one here, so I'm hoping a few of you may still follow it. I bought my unit a year ago and never got around to setting it up. Finally doing it now. I got my 128 GB USB stick set up and am now at the step of getting it working with the unit, but have some questions:

My unit is currently at firmware v5.26.0. It informs me that v5.61.0 is available to download. Instructions in the wiki here recommend upgrading only up to 5.59. But there does not appear to be a way for me to download/install a version of the firmware that is newer than the one I have, but older than the latest one available. Any way for me to get v5.59.0? If not, should I leave it at 5.26.0 or take a chance and upgrade to 5.61.0?

So I decided to stick with the 5.26.0 firmware (for now) and I got the USB memory stick operational with no problem. Unfortunately, it only took a few short rounds of a few classic games for me to be extremely disappointed. I'm using bluetooth (as I don't have a powered USB hub and the USB port is used up by the USB memory stick) and the controller lag makes the games unplayable. Pac Man goes past the turns I need him to make, etc. I'm surprised I'm not reading tons of complaints about this, as I would imagine many/most people are just using this wirelessly.

I guess I'll throw some more money at this and get a powered USB hub and a long USB cable, and see if that makes the experience enjoyable.
