Shouldn't buy. Really bad quality.
Most reviews were saying "damaged during delivery" but the reason was because of bad quality.
I picked up one from walmart store at $180 with perfect box (no any damade on the box); however, when opened it, many damages were at contact location between the shelf and shelf mounting. Very thin and cheap material made for the inside layer.

Man...really like upright vs chest for getting junk out of the bottom. My old chest freezer is obnoxious for that. might need to bite on this..

I don't like digging through everything to try and find the last kielbasa that I'm sure is there haha. this leaves everything on shelves and easier access. 2 story house and a basement for me. I do have backup generator so power outage isn't as big of a concern for me, but that is a factor for many I'm sure

While Upright freezers are more convenient, it uses more electricity than chest ones. When you open an upright freezer, cold air is already leaking out whereas it doesn't happen as much in a chest ones.

Upright has less storage per cubic foot also.

Per cubic foot yes.... But not for square feet of floor space.

Manual defrost, which means it's good for long-term freezing of food, but you will have to let it thaw out occasionally. This is great for people with trouble bending over or need help organizing. I'd recommend getting something to monitor the temperature, because you don't want to lose hundreds of dollars by saving a few bucks on a cheap freezer, but this can happen with others. Some nicer ones have a built-in temperature monitor that beeps when the temperature is too low.
