I have not found out yet. Someone in Reddit said he was successful. I have the nu.ber ready to be ported, just waiting for the phone to arrive and will find out.

Update: just ported in using chat, and I see the credit applied in my promotions.
Thanks! I was wondering the same. Bought a # from numberbarn to port and waiting for phone to arrive 😬

Both T439 and T538 need trade-in. No difference. But T538 doesn't need a port-in. If you are looking at T536, it doesn't need trade-in, but port-in is required.
DaRChSTaRYes, but I think promo is expired.
Can we combine this T538 with free line that we get last saturday?

Looking for a port number. PM me.

There are reports that NB phone numbers aren't eligible for the device promos but can be ported.
Anyone ported with a NB and already see the device promo credits?
Yes, I bought a numberbarn number last Friday. Port took until yesterday, and my iPhone promo showed up immediately after port completed.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think:
T439 and T538 are for iphone 12 $830 credit, require trade-in at least iphone 8, with/without port-in.

T536 is for iphone SE up to $400 credit, requires port-in, no need to trade.

You are correct. But looks like for T536, you can get more than $400 credit. Someone got 128/256GB version and got credit as $450. Smilie

Update on those that selected the 128GB or 256GB version of the Iphone SE. Yes you paid an extra $50 down payment but guess what? That phone will be free too!!! You will get $450 back over 24 months instead of $400 Smilie confirmed as my credits are now showing.
Wait, seriously? I was told the $50 would've been out of pocket. Now, are you selling the iphone SE right away? Or using it? I can't decide if I want to trade the XR for a smaller screen..

Tried porting out of FreedomPop (FP) with Tforce on twitter but got a text that I needed to call. The person I called told me it is the wrong account #. I remember somewhere in SD that to port from FP tmo needs to call then but the # the rep has doesn't ring. I gave him the # on FP's web page but not sure what is going on. Does this seem strange; if so, what next?

btw, I verified the account/pin thru FP email and FP twitter.

edit
great, now this person just tried to disconnect saying he can only hold for 10 minutes. I asked him, what am I supposed to do when they verify my account number. call you back???? he then put me on hold again - outsourcing at its best
In my case, i chatted with freedompop using their website chat box (not facebook, twitter, nor Instagram) to get the account and pin #. Then when there is a message on the tmobile online account saying to contact tmobile, i chatted with TF through twitter, and TF called me to have a 3 ways party with AT&T to release the port in.

Looks like new promotion only need to open a new line + trade in, and without port in, but the catch is Iphone 8 only worth $600, not $830.

Save up to $830:

Apple: iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 11, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone X, iPhone XR

Save up to $600:

Apple: iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus

Save up to $450:

Apple: iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus

Bud... They give you a free line AND a free phone (or deal on better phone) yet you still find something to complain about?
Bud...can your read? I wasn't posting about the free phone or lines, which BTW, I scored. And technically, the phone is not free on any of these deals. Anyway, as I was saying, and have been saying this forever, that it is unnecessary and ridiculous that T-Mobile constantly and purposefully neglects to state the expiration dates for the majority of their promos. Hence, it ultimately creates issues for many of their customers every deal. Learn to comprehend what you read before you come up with some lame snarky comment.

T538 promo requires no line cancelation in past 90 days. Can I cancel other line AFTER I'll add new line with T538 promo?
Whatever line you are going to cancel within next 1 year, they will treat THAT line as the free line cancelation effectively keeping the same bill will 1 less line... yeah they are smart !
Or in other words, if you cancel any line in next 12 months, the credit for this Free line will stop making it a paid line (basically the same thing I explained above).
So you are trying to cancel a paid line but then they will make THIS free line as the paid line instead.

So I'm wondering.. order the phone via t-mobile and the eip is associated to the line. Then keep the new phone in the box or use it on another line.

Leave the byod phone and sim from Costco in place for at least a month or until rebate is processed.

Thoughts?

Nobody really knows what parameters Costco uses to validate their BYOD rebates, so beware of those who comment as if they are experts on the topic.

But yes, one popular approach is to leave the BYOD phone and sim in place until the rebate status changes to "approved." which is usually about 30 days or so.
