I got the Cyberpunk version of this back in November. Turns out it was one of the best ways to play that game. With the recent hardware shortages, this is a great stop gap solution. Stadia won't die before you can finish this game on it (ofc given you actually play it). When/if it does the Chromecast is still a competent streaming device.

All in all I'm very glad I got it and didn't listen to all the naysayers.

People like to shit on Stadia, but if you have a good connection it's pretty good. Playing Cyberpunk on it was a better experience than those who played it on Xbox One or PS4.

They do not. You get an email with a code for the free Stadia Premiere after the game releases. I got the one for Cyberpunk and it took a week to get it delivered.

Great deal!

Just a note that you can use your Google Play balance (i.e. from Google Rewards), but I was only able to choose it as on option in the Stadia app not on the website. Also, you have to have enough to cover the whole total, so I ended up having to top off my account.


I'm a little nervous that the confirmation email didn't mention the bundle.

Stadia is great for what it is. I have gigabit internet and it runs Cyberpunk perfectly.

I got in on the last free Stadia with Cyberpunk deal and I'd do this and flip the Stadia cuz I have no need. I don't know if I'd be disqualified because of this: "Limit One Stadia Premiere Edition per user; 6 per household" even-though it's a completely different promotion. It looks like I could return the game if they don't give me the free Stadia, though. I'll bite.

The promo will have a limited supply. If you do not redeem it while supplies last you will not get it. So you may still preorder the game, but if you wait to redeem the promo, you might be sol. And if you do that...the onus is upon you.

They do say that you can return the game though, so not a huge risk.

"If you return Resident Evil Village for a refund, the Offer is void, and you may be required to return your Stadia Premier Edition or be charged the full price of the Stadia Premiere Edition. If you are required to return your Stadia Premiere Edition, you will receive an email at the email address associated with your Stadia account with instructions for return and you will not be charged for return shipping."
