One of my few deal posts, so please forgive me if I've forgotten to add something or need to edit.

I came across this grill as I was searching for a portable one to take along in our camper. This is perfect for the upcoming camping season and the price is the lowest i could find compared to other online retailers who carry this model.

I can't speak on price but these are great for tailgating.

Good deal, thanks OP, picked one up, I have an older dual grill/burner stove propane one that has served me well for a decade but this will be a nice addition to take around and grill up a bunch of meat!

This seems like a good deal. I think this would def be adequate for an overnight camping trip. This is similar to my Coleman Road trip grill. It's bigger than this one though. I have used it camping. It worked well. I bought a flat skillet grate to use on one side to cook eggs on instead of using the stock one with ridges. You can also get the hose adapter so you can use 15/20 lb. propane tanks if you need it. Amazon also sells an adapter so you can actually refill the "disposable" ones. Plenty of YouTube videos on how to do it. FYI- These grills tend to get hot pretty quickly due to their size.

Been looking at road trip grill for our new RV, do you recommend that or this? You like the road trip?

cook over the fire pit

The world does not revolve around humid climates where campfires are always permitted ...

J/k. Re the deal, this is a pretty handy unit for its intended purpose -- tailgating, camping, grilling on the beach, etc. Keep in mind that this is very small, only slightly larger than a george foreman grill. And it uses the proprietary, small non-refillable coleman propane tanks. would need to buy a separate adaptor to use the standard 15 lb tanks. Pretty good price, too, although larger versions can be had for slightly more if you're not in a hurry, live near a coleman outlet and monitor the sales. E.g., I got the much larger two-burner road trip for ~$100 last black friday at the coleman outlet. Great for cookouts on the beach (where campfires aren't permitted).
You can refill the small coleman tanks using a std bbq tank. Theres an adapater you can get on amazon for under $10. Super easy.

I just bought this grill yesterday for our camper. Was looking for something inexpensive and at 50% off can't beat it.

Back on topic, I'm not really seeing the point of this for overnight camping but I'd love to hear opinions on this. I understand if you're tailgating or doing a day trip to a site but if you're staying overnight, wouldn't you be using a stove and bringing a grate to cook over the fire pit?
We use a propane grill a lot camping. While we have a campfire pretty much every night (when permissible, which it frequently isn't) it doesn't always coincide with when we want to eat, and we don't generally do campfires during the day at all. Some places we camp you're not allowed to chop wood at all, and others it's hard to come by (we live in the desert), so we generally buy wood and bring it with us. Cooking with gas is quicker, cheaper, and more convenient.

Although for camping this seems too bulky for what you get. We currently have the Coleman 4-in-1 grill (stove/wok/griddle/grill). I have mixed feelings about it. Setup is mildly more involved than standard camping grills, it's still a bit bulky, the griddle is of limited use for some things because the sides aren't raised (particularly a problem if you don't have a perfectly level surface which can be difficult with camping), and the round shape isn't idea for some things. The flexibility of it is nice though, temp control is decent (not great, but better than our last stove), and it seems sturdy enough.

I used to have a Weber q1200 that I brought with me which I ended up selling. Wondering if I should pick one up again (solid grill, great temps, terrible shape though).

Thanks for the insight . Can you help by pointing to right adapter on Amazon . I searched and there are quite a few so do not want to take risk of ordering wrong one.

Good price and Coleman does stand behind its warranty policy, although my Coleman stove (not grill) does have difficulties controlling flame. Inability to control flame is NOT very nice for stove, but it should be okay for grill. Just one very important thing: $8 for extended warranty, I'd not skimp on this.
One more thing; Walmart usually have adapter hose for 20 lbs propane tanks, I got mine for $5. I end up saving tons of money by using 20 lbs propane tank, but I do suggest FlameKing's 1 lb refillable tank, Amazon normally sells for approx $10.
Don't be cheap by refilling Coleman 1 lb tank, as valve will leak soon or later. Shit always happens at the worst moment, and when you least expect it. If 1 lb leaks while propane is being used, better hope you have a good life insurance policy, so that your survivor will not curse you when you're at 6 ft under.

I have one of these and I love it. I was in a hurry to make 6 burgers last Sat and had everyone fed before the coals in my charcoal grill would've even been hot enough to start grilling. Great backup grill and yes, I take it camping, to the lake, tailgating - it's very convenient.

We just found a 2 yr old Weber Q1200 on CL, came with the portable stand, 2 propane bottles and 50 grease catch pans for $60. She gave me her receipts which showed $300+. Should come in handy for the RV. We have a 22" Blackstone but it's just not as portable with it's stand that + we prefer steaks cooked over an open flame, not on a griddle.

Truth. We refilled quite a few 1lb Coleman bottles and half of them leaked out sitting on our back porch. Scary thought had they leaked out in our car or RV. Get the 20lb adapter hose if you tire of buying the 1 pounders.

If you have an RV with a built-in propane tank, get one of these Camco T's which utilizes the 20lb adapter hose but eliminates having to carry around the 20lb tank + you can also bypass the RV tank to run off of a 20lb. I found one used -like new from Warehouse Deals for $15.

I've seen those comments too. I've had this exact model since july 2019 and have used it frequently without issue. I know thats anecdotal, but hope it helps some.

I have something similar (Blackstone Dash bought on SD, now discontinued) and I love the thing. I bring it with me in the camper for RV camping, as well as car camping (overlanding). However, the Blackstone's legs disassemble and store within the body of the grill, so I'm not sure I'd be a fan of this design. The griddle itself is awseome: flat for breakfast, raised for lunch/dinner grilling. Cleans up super easy, so I'm not storing a super greasy grill inside my vehicle.

Also, I highly recommend the 1lb refillable Flame King bottles. I used to fill the Coleman disposables but I found a couple that were suspect bulging so I stopped. I now have the 1lb refillable, the 5 lb refillable, and a couple 20lb bottles and will pull whichever one I need for the trip duration.
