I purchased 10 $100 apple gift card, went directly to apple store to purchase iPad. 1 of the gift cards were redeemed from time I left Target to Apple (15 minutes). Apple nor Target took responsibility, lost out on $100. I put it on my Target Red Card and they wouldn't let me dispute charge. SO BE CAREFUL!!!

I would only recommend doing this if the gift cards are emailed to you, in store is a no go

Thanks for posting. I think it's best to wait for $20 target gc and 5% discover during holidays. I plan on buying the iPhone 13 this year Stick Out Tongue

The existing balance from iTunes cards also converted to be able to buy Apple hardware.

I agree I ordered both online and in store. I found in store to be much smoother. The e gift card took longer to receive. I'd say if you are getting a bunch go to self checkout.

Probably buy 2-3 at a time instore at self checkout and add them to your Apple account on the spot. And if they're good then purchase another batch and repeat the steps. Hassle but reduce the risk of getting a claimed gc!

Thank you. Yet another reason not to use Red Card. If the giant hack years ago wasn't enough.

Most cards don't offer extended warranty anymore. The major card brands dropped that in 2019/2020 sadly. A few do, but not the ones most people have now. For Apple products it is best to just get Apple Care+ for most stuff.
