I looked for one of these last fall for a Christmas gift. There are a lot of different vendors all selling the "same" thing but read the reviews carefully. Some of them are far from the quality many of us had growing up.

on my end, the 2-pack's are sold by 3rd party and are asking for $31.99 to $49.99 for delivery. Confused

I have to thumb down your comment because it wasn't helpful. The 2 pack is sold by a shady 3rd party seller charging $49.99 for delivery.

I bought the single pack from Amazon back in 2019 for $2.54 and was disappointed that it couldn't go down the stairs without choking by the 3rd step. It's a great toy to play around on a desktop though

I think these are smaller/shorter than the ones we had as kids years ago. The old ones had no problem going down a flight of stairs.
