Looking for AT&T Internet, new customer deals.

I'm in California, current unhappy Spectrum customer. I've heard that AT&T is at least slightly less crappy; anyone know of any new customer deals? I found one at Broadbandnow-dot-com, is that a legit site?
Don't want TV or mobile, etc; Internet only.
Also open to suggestions for other ISPs, but my understanding is that it's basically a duopoly here. I don't know blazing fast Internet, but hoping to have a service that's more reliable than Spectrum.
