To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Try searching on ebay for pre paid phone or flip phone, etc. Didn't do the full search of all eligible phones. . .but found many for say $5 to $15. . .I used to buy tracfone flippers from Dollar General for $5, but that no longer seems an option, though those same phones will show up on ebay for cheap. The eligible phone list includes ANY phone that powers on and functions normally. . .try searching yourself. The reason I say this isn't to be a dickford, but because that phone you ask for will be gone by the time you get an answer, if its say a one off at $5 or so
Try your local thrift store but make sure it's coming with charger.

Try your neighbors trash too, I've found about a dozen or so old phones over the past few years this way & most work. Heck after I get my 4 free A32 I may unload all my extra ones here for some SD'ers to get great deals.

Also maybe try posting a request on Howard Forums as I am sure there are folks there sitting on old phones. If you are friends with someone who scraps or is a picker that could be good too. Lastly check your local scrap or recycling places & there is always Facebook groups. I am in some Facebook Dumpster Diving groups & I remember a few weeks ago someone found a whole bunch of old phones.

So can anyone answer the question what will be the TOTAL out of pocket costs at the T-Mobile store to get the Samsung deal starting the 18th? I assume it's in store deal only.

I switched over from Cricket to T-Mobile three months ago and am on the secret $20 a
month unlimited talk/text 5gb data plan they don't advertise. My current phone is the Cricket LG Fortune. Btw RIP LG who will not be making phones anymore Frown
that was actually a great phone, outlasted my I7.
Seems like you did quite well then my friend hopefully you get rewarded with unlimited data

That's work too but most old phone have different charging port like newer phone. You might have to spend extra time and money to track the right one.
In thrift store you can try it if it charge properly, battery still good.

What do you tell the representative to get it back?

Do you tell them an SOC data add on code, and they manually add it for you?
I didn't remove my paid addon because I know if it was hard to add back. I'll just wait until the 18th. I removed it twice the past 2 years and it was easy the first time to add back but took 2 months on many attempts to add back the 2nd time.

I didn't know the SOC code for the paid addon then but now I know so hopefully I may try to remove it if I don't get the free upgrade on the 18th and try to get them to add one of the free unlimited SOC ones; if not I can use the paid addon SOC to add it back

If I do the iPhone 12 order online, how long do I have to ship out my iPhone 11s? 30 days from the date I place the order? 30 days from the date I receive the phone? Something else?

As others have posted, your old phone cannot have cracked screen.
