Alright, I'm posting a deal I just got in store at a Best Buy Magnolia Center, you are not going to find this online and it's not going to be listed which is why I put YMMV. To you veterans who know Magnolia, you know they will negotiate prices in their store, hints the YMMV.

New TVs are hitting the market, so they are liquidating old ones. Old ones doesn't mean open box or display units only, new ones too. I was told by my rep that I could get this tv for $1300 or a 65 inch LG CX OLED for $1700, the 65'' was too big for my bedroom so I went with this, both were great deals.

Yes I realize you can get a 55'' LG Oled from Costco for $1350 with an added warranty and Hulu credit, but the Sony A8H is a great TV as well so some may like it better.

Again this is YMMV, some Magnolia reps may tell you to kick rocks. No I'm not going to tell you who sold me this tv or which store because I didn't get his consent to disclose, giving you the best context I can so you have a chance. Good luck

Wow, isn't that one of Sony's top of the line? I remember drooling over it (I think) a year or two ago.

Down-vote because you bringing in "consent" like you in a legal contract... they are a retailer. If they get a rush of people they can offload these too, they will do it.

I'm not an expert but Rtings.com put this one over the A9G and basically even with the CX depending on how you use it. Apparently this years is a big step up with the A90J but the 55 inch is right at $3,000 and since this is a bedroom tv for me it felt like it was the right call. I already have a CX anyway so I kind of wanted something different.

You clearly don't know how Magnolia works. I buy TVs from this guy often and I had a different rep in there tell me the best he could do was $1500, I didn't run it by him to know if his manager would get upset that I'm posting so I left him off. It's called being respectful. Downvote all you want full go create a bunch of accounts and tank this post all you want, I gave you all the context I could, sorry you don't understand consent.

To add, magnolia sales reps get commission, so if they "offload" that is their choice, but they don't offer the same deal to everyone who walks through. It's up to the buyer to build the relationship and find the bottom. If I just gave all the info, it still doesn't mean you would get that deal, yet again hints YMMV. I posted this to give people the opportunity to attempt to secure a deal like this, not to promise they could.

this is better than the CX, if you don't care about gaming like me, I want focus on picture quality for movies.
