Best Buy has the Lenovo Q27q-10 27" QHD Monitor with built in speakers on sale for 179.99+tax, available for free shipping or local pick up. Has decent brightness, freesync, 75mhz refresh rate, etc. Looks like a great 27" all-around monitor for the price.

edit: As user tailwindwatching mentioned, this does have a VESA mount. I was mistaken by a review that said it doesn't have one. I believe this may be a monitor I've come across before in my search that said the VESA mounts are near the bottom and some people mount it upside down to compensate for the lack of a better option.
The speakers are meh, but honestly, how many monitors really boast good audio anyways? I'm usually using a headset or headphones anyways. My panel is a MATTE one, not sure if this one is the same, but just keep that in mind. Some people prefer glossy screens for that "pop", but my home office has sun light hitting the thing directly pretty often, so for my purposes the matte is preferable and diffuses direct light very well.
I have mine mounted on VESA, and haven't had any issues. Aside from the bezel in pictures to real life (which still isn't that bad as others mentioned), this is also a great looking monitor in terms of aesthetics on a desk or office. It's slim and appears to be built well. Only thing I don't like is the right hand side buttons to toggle settings, etc. The menu system is somewhat clunky. It's a non issue for me now as I really only fiddled with this day one to adjust my preferred settings, and haven't touched it since. Looks like on this model they put the buttons in the front, so that's nice, although it cuts into the aesthetics a bit more.
On the USB C model (Q27H-10), I paid 266 with employee pricing directly from Lenovo a few months ago....and I would pay that again easily. At this even lower price (although no USB-C), this is a good deal for sure. I am almost tempted to pick up another as another display in my office.

I wouldn't rely on them. I use this as a 2nd monitor for work and i always default to my laptop audio.
For my line of work (usually looking at emails, excel sheets, PDFs), it's done the job for me. Clear and no issues zooming into materials to review them. Plus looks pretty sleek for a monitor. Just note that the stock stand does not have vertical height variability or swivel capability.
And yeah bezels not as thin as advertised but not horrendously thick either. I barely notice them once i start working. Bezels come out to be a hair over 1/4" thick
