Currently there is a Front Page deal for M18 FUEL 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Brushless String Grass Trimmer + Pole Saw + Hedge Trimmer + Edger Attachments (TOOL ONLY) for $439
No. You need to compare with Dewalt or Ego outdoor power tools for price and needs.
These are almost gas powered equivalent tools.
Craftsman, Kobalt, Ryobi, Black & Decker are lower quality(or Tier) tools. Those may work for you, but Milwaukee will last longer at end of the day and a few years down the road.

Best deal from this acme promo:
Get string trimmer kit ($299), pole saw attachment ($149), and the actual hedge trimmer for $169 (not the attachment). This comes to $617 and qualifies for the $200 off. You'll end up with string trimmer, 8.0, rapid charger, pole saw attachment, and the hedge trimmer for $417.
Basically getting the string trimmer + pole saw combo kit for $299 (like prior Home Depot deal) and the hedge trimmer for $118 which is a nice deal on the hedge trimmer.

Yeah I did a similar deal in which I got the String Trimmer w/Battery, Pole Saw, and Blower for $407 plus tax since I don't really have much use for a hedge trimmer these days. Price matched online to HD since I had a gift card there.

I just tried to get HD online to price match the Acme Tool deal and the agent said that Acme Tools is not a valid competitor and they will not price match. How did you go about getting them to match it?

Curious how you got them to price match online? Thanks

I did the same thing minus the price match. But I have to return the other 4 tools to home depot.

Sorry maybe I was being a bit confusing there....I meant I got them to price match their website (online) to acme tools website (online). The price match itself I did through their customer service 'text' option. It was a bit of a mess to be honest. Took them forever to respond but in the end they approved the price match. But then they noted my order was for 'in store pickup' which they couldn't price match to, and would either have to have me cancel and re-order, or try to go in store to price match at pickup. My experience is generally local HD stores won't price match online unless there is a brick and mortar near you (in this case there isn't for Acme Tools).
In short I had to cancel and re-order, selecting ship to home. You have to provide them the item numbers you are looking at as well as the website (www.acmetools.com). With this info they were able to verify the pricing and adjust the HD price, though you have to place an order first (the match is done after, not before, you order). They prorated the discount amongst the tools I bought.

Thanks for the detailed information! YMMV, I have spoken with 2 online representatives; one said that Acme Tools is not a valid competitor, and the other said they do not honor promotional or sale prices with the price match. I also spoke to the customer service manager at my local HD and they stated they could not honor the pricing due to size of the discount they would have to apply.
