Make sound come alive with this MartinLogan Motion 5.1 home theater system. The four Motion 2i speakers, Motion 6i bar speaker and Dynamo 400 subwoofer provide crisp treble and thumping bass. This MartinLogan Motion 5.1 home theater system includes wall mount brackets for the 2i and 6i speakers, making it ideal for setting up surround sound in a family room

anything is an upgrade from Bose...

no highs, no lows.. must be Bose.

"Better sound through marketing"
Good price for an all-Martin Logan system. It's not going to rock the house with 3.5" drivers, but for those who listen at medium volumes in smaller rooms will enjoy the ML sound from the ribbon-like tweeters. ML subs are really good, too.
Remember the MLT-2 5.1 system that was $150 on Black Friday many years ago?

Power and sound quality are two different things.

I agree. Music and movies have the same requirement for sound quality.

Would these be an upgrade to Bose Acoustimass? TIA

Yes, it would. Actually with the Yamaha Receiver at Costco that goes on sale often. It makes a great system for $1000-$1,100 for movies and music.

This RSL system would be a better option [rslspeakers.com] even though it is $280 more expensive. Highly rated 10" subwoofer, 4" drivers in the satellite speakers and center channel. Also no sales tax if you are located outside of California. 30 day trial and free return shipping.

Also the SVS Prime satellite system [svsound.com] for $200 more would be another good option with 4.5" drivers and a 12" subwoofer. They offer a 45 day trial with free return shipping.

SVS but if the $250 is an issue the ML is a great small room at home system.
