I bought this last time it was posted. Received one that was so damaged the door wouldn't close. Returned it (which was a two week debacle, as Walmart couldn't figure out how to schedule a Pilot pickup). Once it was finally picked up, Walmart never refunded me. I'm currently waiting on a PayPal claim.

Probably not based on "The drain plug allows for easy cleaning and manual defrosting." in the descriptions

Frost free freezer will not keep meat nearly as long . The constant thaw and refreeze cycle will cause freezer burn in half the time. BUT.....YOU will have to manually defrost once or twice a year.

If you paid with a credit card, do a chargeback with the card company. You're their customer, so they'll more likely side with you

I decided to roll the dice despite reviews last time this posted and got one in perfect condition, been working fine.

Obviously seems like there are some issues with shipping so YMMV but we've been happy so far, other than the costco bills that it takes to fill it.

shelves definitely aren't as big as the pictures with food seem to suggest, though.

This ^ I purchased the last time around and it arrived in great shape. It's in my garage and working great. We filled this up rather quickly and could have possibly used something larger, but would have had a challenge finding a spot for it.

Got this deal last time, arrived damage. Called and got it resolved easily and had a replacement in a week. I will say this one seems to make alot more noise more often than my old chest freezer that it replaced, and the right side of it doesn't seem overly insulated and is ice cold to the touch. Overall works fine, but can't say I'd recommend it over a regular chest freezer

I had an impossible return experience with Walmart that lasted months with no refund. So much of my life wasted on calls with them.

I will avoid all items that could need a return with Walmart from now on. Just not worth it.
