The 1 TB Crucial MX500 SATA has been going in and out of stock at Amazon for $89.99. If you need a deal on a 1 TB SATA SSD, this is a good price which might go up soon.

Some new crypto is using SSDs instead of GPUs.
Time will tell if it catches on, but this drive has a low TBW (360 TBW I believe for this one) and wouldn't be ideal for Chia unless you wanted to be buying drives somewhat often. Right now, it seems most are buying used enterprise drives with very large TBW's.
Again, only time will tell how much Chia affects the consumer market, but so far it hasn't had much effect in the USA (if any at all). That effect could be different in other areas.
