This is an inverter generator so you will be able to power all of your sensitive computer and electronic devices. It can also slow down based on usage so it can run quieter when you are not using a full load. This normally sells for around $900 and is a very solid inverter generator and at 6250 watts, the most you will find in an inverter without spending $2-$3k

I installed a transfer switch to my panel and it powers my entire 1200sq foot house including all lights, gas furnace, fridge, tv's, computers, window AC, etc. The only thing this will struggle with is Central AC.

HIGHLY recommend this inverter generator

Alternatively, you can get the 8750 watt with electric start for $1020, again a great price for inverter technology -

Gas snorkel kit is available for 180 bucks, and that would make generator tri fuel. I have 8500 watt version of this generator, and it worked like a charm. Can run generator using natural gas, propane, and gasoline

I guess it's 200 bucks now: https://www.ebay.com/itm/261868269196?hash=item3cf890ae8c:g:UWwAAOxy2CZTajYJ

If you need 240v for well and want dual fuel, this one is a little more but has the ability to do electric start. https://images.homedepot-static.c...6323c3.pdf

Running Wattage: 3500W

This is not even near anywhere a 6500w generator. You guys.... I dont even know where to start. Sure this may be a good price compared to other places, but call it for what it is.
Start here: 6250 starting watts and 5000 running watts

The 3500 is an error on their part.

the 8750 has a 30amp 220 outlet.. Is that correct? Shouldn't that be 50amp?
Nope they limit the plug
to 30a. The extra amps go to the 120v plugs running simultaneously.

I recently bought a WEN GN875i 8750w inverter direct from WEN for $810 (with no sales tax added). https://wenproducts.com/products/...-compliant

I added the $200 US Carbeuration tri-fuel kit. Right at $1000 got me an 8750/7000w Tri-fuel inverter. Note that the wattage ratings are for gas. Propane or natural gas are going to put out less wattage.

Would home depot price match this?

Edit: It looks like amazon offers 12 month financing no interest! sweet. No need to price match

I'm not an expert but inverters in general lose like 40% of the power they invert. That said it looks like the inverter style generators can reduce the engine running speed if draw is lower so they might actually be more efficient. Maybe it evens out in regular use that way.
There is a difference between an inverter and an inverter generator, you have a solid source for that 40% number? There are no batteries to pass through here, and I know my inverter generator is much more efficient than that.

I have the 8750 watt version of this, Hooked up to the house with an interlock switch. Have probably run it about 12 hours. Overall running great so far plenty of power for the house, lights, two fridges, microwave, etc... all running. I would have preferred dual fuel as well, but good for now.
